    Sign DH12 and CP3

    C- Howard
    PF- Bosh
    SF- Lebron
    SG- Wade
    PG- Paul

    Boom.

In all seriousness, I see them going after a center, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to trade Bosh.

Bosh will be shopped. Also, LOL at your PG candidate list. Mo William despises LeBron, I doubt he would come to Miami, even if he'd have a great shot at winning the title.

Why would the Heat want Mo Williams anyway? Dude is worse than Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole.

A true rim protector and a rejuvenated Wade without any knee or other issues will do wonders

wonder if they will take a shot with Oden.

What if Oden went to Miami, remained relatively healthy...and then reached his potential? You might as well shut the league down. Dude's 25, he could still carve out a nice career for himself, rooting for him. Seems like a good dude.

Given their style (or lack of it), they don't need a big man who is a post presence. They don't know how to run anything with someone in the post other than LeBron. What they need is a good rebounding center who can act as enforcer, and shoot from outside. Maybe Bill Laimbeer wants to come out of retirement?

This^. And they manage to get Blake Griffin as well.
Still go 7 games in 2014 NBA finals.

I do think they land Oden. Much higher upside than Eddy Curry. Oden will cost some money though. If he's healthy I think he makes a bigger impact than any of y'all are expecting.

The Heat have all the talent but no rebounders

Which is why he'd be the 3rd pg.

I would personally keep the big 3. You don't change something that isn't broken, regardless of how bad Bosh may have played. They won 2/3 rings. With that said, I'd add a center after you amnesty Mike Miller. They just really need to improve on rebounding and have some physicality inside. Everything else for them rests on health, when healthy, it's hard to see anyone beating them.

I think they have to amnesty Miller and trade Anthony. They can't afford to hit the tax. With three superstar contracts mixed with all the player options that add up to more than $10 mil, they have no choice.

Anthony will be easier to trade because a lot of bad teams could use him as a backup center for less than $4 mil in the final two years of his deal.

Jason Collins would be a good 3rd string center option for the Heat.

It's funny that the Spurs will probably be stronger than them this time next season, despite supposedly being too old. They played to a statistical tie, with the championship going to Miami basically on luck. Then we go into an offseason in which Miami is looking to use exceptions to add back-ups and San Antonio has something like $15m+ to spend on the top tier of free agents.

To be fair though, Miami got 2 rings with this group on 3 Finals appearances. There's not much more you can ask for. San Antonio might be in a better financial position now, but I'm willing to bet they'd trade that cap space for those 2 rings in a heartbeat.

Here is probably their list of bigs on their free agent list-(Excluding Dwight, Bynum, Jefferson, Smith, West, Millsap)

Top of the list long shots because of players ability to most likely get higher salary-

    Plan A-
    -Okafor
    -Splitter

    Plan B
    -Dalembert
    -Kaman

More than likely all of these starter calliber players will get much better offers from other teams, and in Okafor's case, I doubt he's willing to turn down his ETO to chase a ring with the Heat.

Still I do think that there's a chance one of these guys could be left on the table long enough to potentially be an option for the Heat..... especially if they use their amnesty on a player like Mike Miller, or make some sort of trade to free up salary next month.

If they miss out on these guys, its just going to be more of the same Juwan Howard types-

Guys they should be able to sign no problem, but wont be huge impact players-

    -Greg Oden
    -Blatche
    -Kenyon Martin
    -Cole Aldrich
    -Ryan Hollins
    -Mohammed
    -Petro
    -Pachulia
    -Turiaf

Of these names, I would take a long look at Aldrich, & Oden if I was Pat Riley. I would look for someone who could potentially be a starting center for this team. Oden is an injury risk, but he has probably the highest upside of any player on this list still.

Aldrich is an interesting young big who I think can improve enough to be a reliable option to make life easier on your stars. Everyone else here isn't a reliable enough option for me to think twice about passing in free agency.

-Also dont rule out them going after a Prigioni type of player in Europe on the backside of their careers. Maybe Felipe Reyes or someone like Sofo.
