Utah Jazz, followed closely by Fisher. I saw the debacle vs the Thunder last season at the Toyota Center. I was delighted with the fans powerfully booing Fisher every time he touched the ball, at least.
For the older fans, it might be the Celtics. They beat us twice in the finals. The 81 Rockets team was pretty awesome with Moses Malone, Calvin and Rudy Tomjanovich. Although Rudy was only a shell of his former self at that point. The 86 Rockets team had to have been the best Rockets team ever. (Yes, they were better than the 94 and 95 Rockets that won championships.) Unfortunately, the 86 Rockets were playing against the Celtics with Bird, McHale and Parish which was probably the best front court in the history of the NBA and best team in the history of the NBA. There is also the Seattle Supersonic's who always beat us in the early and mid 90's with their illegal zone /scrambling defenses. The ref's rarely called a foul which was annoying because the Sonics would play an illegal zone /scrambling defense the entire game. The refs would have had to have called a foul on every possession so they rarely called a foul. This is one reason Gary Payton had a high number of steals. He always played the passing lanes. The Jazz will always be hated because of their dirty plays and excessive flopping. (Eblows by Karl Malone, Knees by John Stockton and Jeff Hornacek) They also cheated in one of series, and if we win that series, we definitely go to the NBA Championship and probably win a Championship. That was the year we had Hakeem, Clide, Barkley and Kevin Willis on the team, which was a pretty awesome team. Joey Crawford will always be hated because of the way he treated Hakeen and Clide Drexler. Did he cost a playoff series? Scottie Pippin and Tracy McGrady will never get respect from a true Rockets fan because they quit on the team. Pippin will be hated more since was not on the team very long and made disparaging remarks about the players and the city which forced the team to trade him to Portland. That trade set the Rockets back as an organization because of what we had to take back in salary. I can live with the Lin Only Fans. They are annoying, but you can tune them out. I wish Clutch and the Clutchfans crew would ban some of the Lin Only Haters. Some of them have been downright vile and act like trolls. While Lin has not lived up to his contract and I wish his performance was better, he has contributed to the team, remained positive and excluding today's tweet earlier today, been the utmost professional despite having plenty of reason's to pout. While allot of the criticism has been valid, their have been players on the team that have had worse contracts and contributed less to the team. Considering some of the contracts that have been handed out to other players over the last couple of years, it is not that bad of a contract and as far as I know, has not prevented the Rockets from signing a free agent that they have been pursuing. That may change this summer, but until Lin's contract ACTUALLY prevents the Rockets from signing a free agent they are pursuing, allot of the criticism, while partially deserved is excessive.
The Mavs! I detest Cuban and I'll never forgot that playoff series where we won the first two games IN Dallas, then they came back to beat us in 7 games. Game 7 was like a historic 40 point playoff blowout too, embarrassing.
There are allot of reasons to not like the Dallas Mavericks but I do not hate them. Yes, Cuban is arrogant and annoying and yes the Dallas Mavericks beat us in the playoffs in 2005. For the most part, they were a better team. I thought we should have won the series. It was the refs I hold most responsible for costing us that series. I am not as bitter about losing the series in 2005 to the Mavericks as I am about when we lost to the Jazz in 1997. When we lost to the Jazz, I felt, and allot of other Rockets fans felt that the Jazz cheated, whereas the loss to the Mavericks was due to bad officiating. Plus, even if we beat the Mavs, I do not think we would have beat the Heat that year. However, if we beat the Jazz in 97, we go on to play the Bulls, and allot of us believe that we would have beat the Bulls. The 97 loss really hurts because you have all these analysts that say we won out championships when Jordan wasn't playing. Derek Fisher is just a d*uche. As far as Chris Paul, I do not know why he is on the list.
Since when was a LOF a JOF? 44 LOFs voted for LOHs. There is no such thing as a LOH, there's not a single poster here that has signed up for the sole reason to hate on jeremy lin. However there's plenty that are here solely for jeremy lin.
Supersonics Malone's knee in the chest move Hornacek Sloan rest of Jazz team not so much, Joey Crawford NBA refs - they leave everyone confused as to what the rules are
Teams in order: 1) Jazz 2)Mavs 3)Lakers 4)Blazers Players in order: 1)Karl Malone 2)John Stockton 3)Dirk 4)Lillard Honorable mentions: 1)Mark Cuban 2)Joey Crawford 3)Mark Jackson
Can I just say how much I love ClutchFans? I love all the shared connections, memories, and everything we have in common as fans; even our differences! I know there are other threads for this, but it's hard for me to contain my love for this site. Haha
I hate our inability to get out of the first round which we've only done once since 97 I believe? Yeah that's what I hate.
WOW, there's nearly as much hate for 'Jeremy Only Fans' as for the Utah Jazz. The Utah Jazz broke my heart so many times it's hard to forget. The tactics of Stockton and Malone still echo through my soul. I will never forget. Jeremy Lin will never have the impact the Jazz, or even Scottie Quitten will have on the Rockets organization in the long run. He's just a journeyman point guard with semi creative offensive game. We will forget his game and remember him for his fan base. I wish him the best of luck wherever he ends up.
