    I went to Lamar in the 80's and I think it was a requirement to cruise Westheimer.

    btw, just to remind you, there are three intrastate highways in texas alone. one even goes starts/ends in lubbock!

    I also went to Lamar in the mid 80s and we always considered cruising Westheimer as last ditch desperation, which meant there wasn't a good party going on.

    no, houstons a boring city. Lived in both places. Austin > Houston. Hurts not having a pro team NBA, NFL, MLB team in Austin tho

    I used to cruise Westheimer when I was 16 in 1986. I learned quickly to never make a comment about a "girl's" butt when driving through Montrose.

    Pretty lame way to kill time. But it was cheap. And, perhaps more importantly, not in Kingwood. We quickly moved the party out of the car and into the clubs such as Numbers, NRG, etc.
