I don't eat any of this crap. I always knew these were garbage food for the fatties.

Why not stick to a clean vegan diet? ;)

Did they control for the method of cooking the meat (charring the meat at high temperatures is probably more carcinogenic than baking or stewing)? Also, did they confirm a causal relationship or is it just correlation? If people who eat red meat also do something else that causes cancer, then eating the meats may have nothing to do with the cancer.

    everything in moderation.....

red meat may not be god for you, but if you eat it once in a while...like once a week or once every two weeks...i'm sure its fine.

Is not the meat itself but the chemicals they put in it. The way these poor animals are treated and the stuff they give them that ends up in our mouths. Chemicals so strong that they can alter our DNa and create inbalances that lead to cancer

Red meat is super nutritious. I doubt there is anything intrinsically carcinogenic about red meat. Humans evolved quite well on meat for millions of years. But it's not surprising that modern processed meat could be carcinogenic. Torture the animal, feed it food it is not designed to eat, whilst pumping it full of synthetic junk and hormones and antibiotics. Then add a bunch of strange additives to it, wrap it in plastic, bring it home and radiate it or char the **** out of it. Yeah I can see a problem there.

Excuse me Sir.. you Cannot bring logic into hysteria! Introducing advanced logic concepts such as causation vs correlation could cause someone to get cancer!!

Eating bacon and processed meats increases your odds of colon cancer by 18%.

It goes from 5% lifetime to 6% lifetime. I'll continue to enjoy my steaks rare and my bacon daily.

Great point. Statistics can be manipulated to create misconceptions of risk.
