Holy crap, so this is what it's come to? Threads that appeal to elementary kids. If this is whats happening DURING the season, I don't even wanna know what this next offseason brings us.
my superhero for some of these posters on the garm..... piggy = little miss piggy from kermit the frog.
at least its not some random rant against 2 thugs, or another thread complaining about yao being soft, mcgrady being injured, battier doing nothing, brooks cant pg, scola flopping, artest playing 1 on 5, and then praising our bench like they are better than our starters.... until they become starters, then they get the same bashing...
ooo really? is that right? you say atleast its not some random rant against 2 thugs....but the fact of the matter is that there is a thread about 2 thugs and there are alot about our players....BUT THIS STUPID THREAD IS ABOUT OUR PLAYERS BEING SUPERHEROES?!?!!? HAHAH AND THE KID HAD THE NERVE TO PUT TMAC IN THERE.
at least its not bashing our players, is it? come on man, we are #3 in the west, playing well as of late, but the bashing of our starters continues and more than ever too. i mean, theres even thread about giving cook and white a chance now...... sigh
ya and those threads are stupid as well, the people who made those threads need to see my back hand. ya atleast its not bashing but instead making our players into make believe characters....when they can't even close out a game against detroit without RIP, WALLACE, AND IVERSON. please don't reply back, i don't feel like wasting key strokes anymore on you and this FAILED thread.
sh!ts happen man, lakers lost to the 76ers, celtics to the bulls, spurs lost to the thunders... at least we won the game right?
Man, people on this site are wayyy to negative. This was just a fun, goofy thread, and if that's not your thing, then why click on it at all just to put other people down? Stupid Rockets aren't heroes, they can't close out a game, and T-Mac suxx! Please. I understand wanting to be negative all the time (actually I don't, and I'm a pretty pessimistic person), but why take the time out to criticize what is for all intents and purposes, just a fun thread for comic-book heads.
Said at the outset that this was silly. But thanks for your thoughtful insight and contribution it changed my life ok peace.
Dunno if McGrady belongs in a superhero thread, although the Iron Man one works pretty good if you count him as having lost his armor Kyle Lowry Brian Cook Dirk Nowitzki
These were awesome, and thanks to everyone that had the sense of humor and imagination to participate. Over 1000 people viewed this thread, and all but 3 or 4 of them were intelligent enough to decide whether or not it was for them and move on if it wasn't. I mentor kids in Chicago public schools, and I've been using comics as a way to get through to some of the hardcases, and that's where this idea came from. There are some kids that never have anything constructive to offer, and instead of leaving well enough alone, they distract and taunt the kids that do want to learn or be creative. I hate what those kids stand for, because they don't want to offer anything constructive but they tear down the ones that do. You can't give them a good facepunching because they're kids, but Fairy King you're a real yeeatch, and if you EVER came to the CHI with that ignorance, I will have no problem pulling your skirt up, toughguy. This assuming you're even an adult. Smooches!
No you suck. Is it so hard to be somewhere else if you don't like it? Is that too simple for simple minds? I guess not. Why not impress us with your humor and creative contributions? Oh you don't have any? Then thanks. For absolutely nothing. You're not even original at this point. You're an oxygen thief. Please leave the planet at your earliest convenience. You don't have to like the thread. It's OK, really. You also don't have to click on it or post anything. We know it's not for everybody. Now we also know who is so stupid, they can't pass by without calling attention to their own hateful ignorance. "Hey look at me! I don't have anything different or useful to say, and I didn't really create anything on my own. This sucks." I like to imagine hearing this in a Bullwinkle voice.
