totally agree. the connie hawkins, as an nba player, legend has gotten out of hand. it would be like adding rafer to the next list ten years from now, because he is a streetball legend.

 

I remember once when I was living in Chicago that Chet Coppock guy who did radio and tv sports talk shows for a while once devoted an entire program the implication of which was that Connie Hawkins was the greatest player who ever lived - I was like whaa?

The Hawk was superb. It's a shame for the 'wasted years'.
