    1. Spurs - I want Horry to surpass Russell for total championships won
    2. Celtics - to see Sammy win again
    3. Magic - because Dwight Howard is a great guy

I'm not rooting for anyone. I'm a Rockets fan.

I'll watch and enjoy good basketball when it's played, but this season is dead to me.

(I still voted for anyone but the Jazz.)

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I'd prefer the Spurs to win. They're old and I don't want to see any of the other teams getting championship experience while the Rockets heal.

I would love to see hawks win it all! Seriously, they may upset Celtics if the refs dont control that game.

Spurs - hate them! I don't want to see them back to back, that's our claim to glory in Texas.

Hornets - I don't like Chris Paul ( if he plays for Rockets..who knows)

    Jazz - No comment

Lakers - I hate Fisher,Phil Jackson, Pau Gasol...but I can live with them winning

Celtics - i hate the big trio..all the espn commercials, Ray Allen chewing gum, overhyped team.

Detroit, Hawks, Cavs ( Lebron will eventually win one as soon as he has some good role players around him) - i have no problems seeing any of them win

    Go Lakers,Hawks,Pistons,Cavs!!!!!!!

No Rockets, all I'll root for is entertaining series/games. I absolutely will not root for anyone to win the championship. At most, I'll root for a particular team to NOT win.

I'm rooting for the Spurs big time. I went to college in SA and have always liked the Spurs (except when they play the Rockets). Yes, Manu flops, but he's a hell of a lot of fun to watch play (kinda like Scola). I like Parker's game, and Duncan is the most down to earth superstar now that Nash and Dirk are gone. It also helps that the Spurs have Robert Horry, who is my all-time favorite NBA player.

I like their chances, especially if the Celtics get knocked off in the East (Go Hawks!).

Somebody says a preference, and now they're all out different team fans? Everyone would rather see one team win over another (this statement is validated because I don't think anyone in their right mind wants to see Utah win ANYTHING.)

BTW, Manu is my favoritest player. ;)

Exactly. I know this is not popular here. But I would rather the Jazz win (gasp, did I say that?) than the Lakers.

The Lakers steal and rob teams. They think they are entitled to get whatever players they want. They think other teams exist just to develop players for them. Then think the league exists so that they can win championships. Anyone rooting for the Lakers is rooting for evil.

Like I said, even if you don't hate the Lakers like I do, you should look at the Gasol robbery. They are the bigger cheaters than the Jazz. Not to mention Kobe's and Phil's gigantic egos, and Fisher's floppery.

I'm with you. I'm hoping the Jazz squash them. The Lakers and their fans have this annoying sense of entitlement. They are Detroit-West. I'll never root for them in a series.

Plus, if the Jazz get killed by the Lakers, that will only make our loss to the Jazz that much more embarassing. If the Jazz show their dominance against a "contender" like the Lakers, that makes the Rockets playoff showing a little more bearable.

I know Chris Paul is a jerk but I'm rooting for the Hornets. It would be a great thing for that city and that organization to have a championship.

    I have several...

    1. I'd be okay with the Hawks, simply because that'd be hilarious.

    2. I'd be okay with the Celtics, 'cuz that'd mean KG gets a ring.

    3. I'd be okay with the Magic, because Dwight Howard is awesome.

I don't know how they got Gasol. I don't care. The league should have stopped that one. What made Kobe decide to stay? Did the Lakers reps tell him they were going to steal Gasol later in the season?

To me, this doesn't matter. The league seems to have it's hand in a lot of things. Why didn't the Celtics or the Grizzlies get 1/2 pick in the draft? The NBA doesn't like tankers. It has nothing to do with the lottery machine at that point.

The only thing I hate about LA is Laker fans, because most (not all) of them are SO stupid. I respect Kobe's game and every team has it's floppers so Fisher shouldn't piss you guys off beyond measure. I'm happy he ditched Utah. I hate The Vagine (a lot) and Jordan Farmar (a little) but I don't have a problem with anyone else. How could you hate Ronny Turiaf? The guy just honestly is full of energy even though he had heart surgery in college.

Pau pisses me off because they got him for free, in fact they got paid to get him, but he's a good player nonetheless and he will NOT let the Jazz push him around down low...

Lamar Odom is too strong for Kirilenko or even Harpring. They are going to get abused. Just like the entire Jazz team whom we already exposed as a piece of trash team.
