other than our picks i just get a kick out of watching Knick's management fail after all that hype about signing lebron
I always root against the knicks, they have their head up their butt and think their crap doesn't stink( the draft picks this year just make it a added bonus). After that, everyone in the Western conference.
1. Knicks 2. Bulls - rose, noah, + any combination of 2 of the big 3 would be too much for the rest of the league
Knicks: obviously Lakers: don't want the rich get richer Miami: just don't like Riley in general I also hope LeBron either goes back to Cleveland or goes to NJ. In fact, I pretty much hope all big FAs go back to their own teams, except Bosh coming to Houston. I like the old time when most stars stay with one team throughout their careers. A franchise player changing teams is like a familiar brand changing its logo. Just doesn't feel right.
TOTALLY agree CH. Not a fan of all of this self entitlement that NY and Miami has. I hope they both fail in this FA bonanza.
Knicks - Obviously. Heat - The whole, 'We're gonna get Wade, LeBron AND Bosh' scenario. Hopefully Wade leaves and they get nothing of significance. Bulls - If they add 2 of the the big 3, they could be the team to beat for years. Rooting for: Nets - Last year.
Not sure. On the one hand, I would like these free agents to get all the money that is available to them; on the other hand, I would like to see them excercise their right to play where they want to play. It's too bad that only one could do both at the same time, Bosh, while the big fish, James and Wade, have to either take a pay cut and go elsewhere or get the max on their old team. Seems to me that their free agency is restrictive after all. The most probable outcome of all of this is James and Wade staying on with the Cavs and Heat - with the Cavs being slightly improved in some way, and the Heat radically changed, but probably not championship quality. The Bulls and Nets not getting one of the major free agents will be a big blow for this clear capspace for a star movement because they did it the right way by clearing capspace and keeping a solid foundation intact - unlike the Heat and Knicks who have nothing to offer right now in terms of roster talent.
The Knicks are the obvious choice. They basically abandoned the last two seasons just to clear cap space for this offseason and they didn't even do that good a job of it as Miami and Chicago have both passed them up in terms of cap space. I think they just assumed the stars would want to play in the Big Apple.
