If Griffin doesn't come back it will be him -- not only did we waste a pick we gave up 3

WHoa MIKE was agood player that got traded for steve F. If he was healthy he would have been a solid player. and Ralph Sampson help us get to the Finals Neither was a bust.

now Drew and Cheivios were busts

Hehehe. I remember vividly being shocked when the Rox took him. I heard a short post-draft interview with the guy and was not very impressed. I had to call 610's national network show (I think it was One-on-One Sports Network at the time) and tell the host about Turkcan's comments on himself.

The interviewer asked him to describe himself and his game to an American audience who had probably never heard of him before. He said (and this is from memory at a five-year remove) <thick_middle-European_accent> "I am maybe best rebounder in all Europe. And I love shoot."</thick_middle-European_accent>

I thought "Great. That's exactly what the Rockets need out of their first round pick, another unproven foreign guy who 'love shoot.'"

He would certainly be right up there in the El Busto Supremo sweepstakes.

Chevious actually had a decent rookie year. He came on strong at the end of the year and our 6th man. He fell off the face of the earth shortly thereafter.

I also would leave Buck Johnson off. He was a capable starter for several seasons. Not terribly bad for a #20 pick.

Dave Jamerson belongs near the top of any list. We spent a #12 lottery pick on this guy.

Harris was pretty pathetic for a #19 pick.

John Turner was a #20 pick also. We got nothing out of him

So I would have to rate it like this:

    1. Dave Jamerson
    2. John Turner
    3. Steve Harris

    Darn the no edit:

I would put Chievous just ahead of Harris. At least Cheivous had ONE semi productive season.

I think trading a future #1 for a 2nd rounder in TMo had to be pretty bad....there was a reason he was in the second round of a pretty week draft....

Other than that, it had to be Rhoades. He could light it up from somewhere, just not on the court....

    R. Rhodes could play some defense, but man he even bricked his layups!

Of course he wasn't a top 10 pick like EG.
