Andre Iguodala. He would give the Rockets a wing that can play offense and defense. The problem is that it would take a trade in which the Rockets have to give up more. I see the 76ers willing to trade him because Turner is very similar. Granted, I think the 76ers keep him if offered trash. I think they would want young players and picks to build around Turner.

His D is way below average if you consider team defense is a bigger part of defense. His court awareness is non-exist. His biggest problem is like Stomile Swift: low basketball IQ. He took dumb shots after dumb shots and his TS is only 53% with that kind of athletisizm and their fast paced style of play. In one word, Ariza is a better player than Gay and Gay will make more money for his "potential" 4 years into the league.

Gay is a natural born loser. No motor. No will to win. Not interested.

Get a solid backup big and live with what we got. Think about it though, we won 42 games this past season, leaving Yao totally out of it there were trades and injuries and we were still 8 wins from being a 50 win team. I think we are closer than we think.

The lineup with Gay and Fernandez just doesn't look like it would strike fear in the hearts of the rest of the Western Conference. If you're going to have Martin and Brooks on the floor, you need to have strong defenders on the floor with them. I'd like Plan B to include Al Jefferson, and to address the backup center position. Tell you the truth, I'd like Plan A to address the backup center position. ...

DDotConrad503 brought up a good point. Gay is a young athletic wing man who has the body and athletic ability to improve on his average defense.

I think a coach like Adelman along with players like Lowry/Hayes/Yao would bring out the best in Gay in terms of how hard he would work.

cp3 is the franchise. unless a deal includes lebron, he's not getting traded.

lol, Thanks man. Not much else, I just feel that everyone is a little Bosh happy. We have depth and drive, when we start trading pieces away we lose all of that. The only person I would try to upgrade right now is Ariza unless he gets better this off season. With Hill, Patterson a solid backup and a healthy Yao I think we are much better than we are giving ourselves credit for. We dont need Bosh or Joe Johnson.

so you want to give up 3 first round picks and budinger for al jefferson?

    go lord.

i think in 2 years hill will have numbers about equal to al jfferson.

    horrible horrible trade.

By trading for Big all, and only really disposing of jefferies contract, how do you propose we can afford Mike Miller, Brad Miller, and Ray Allen????

Even if we could do it, we would be stuck with a bunch of over the hill players for a looooong time.....

sounds like a good lineup. okafor provides solid insurance for yao in case he gets injured again.
