A coach & system that plays to the strengths of our talent changes everything. Let the coach be the team’s leadership. Bring in players to mentor, IDK. PLUS We already have the role filled with the most liked person in the league. Fans chant his name across the country. He is on television commercials. Works in the community helping people. Can still play basketball, too. Don’t need or want anything more than we already have. The role is filled.

Donte DiVincenzo and DeAndre Jordan are 2 free agents that I think I'd like as mentors. I would also acquire vets by using the prospects we dont see as being part of the foundation moving forward. I think Martin, Nix, Garuba and Christopher fall into this category. 2 trades I have proposed elsewhere was Martin+Nix to Indiana for darft assets + TJ McConnell (backup PG who shoots it well. Scrappy guy who just willed himself to being an NBA player) and Garuba+draft assets from Indiana trade and maybe the LAC pick to Toronto for pick #13 and Thad Young (noted awesome treammate and 10+year vet).

Instead of Ingles & Beverly go get Conleys expiring from Minny. I don’t care if it’s Harden, Henderson, or KPJ but I want Conley as the backup point

DJ Augustine for PG since he actually wants to be here. Most of these suggestions will end up like Danny Green where they want to go to a team with ring or deep playoff run potential. We don't need another Wall that is going to pout if he's not starting. Are we looking for a mentor or someone to play?
George Hill or Derek Rose for PG mentors. At center, I like the Taj Gibson suggestion. Maybe Kaminsky or Zeller for a center that won't demand minutes? Kevin Love will be available, too. He's injured most of the time and won't have to have minutes.

this is only if we miss on harden, fvv, porzingis, cam Johnson, poeltl, brook Lopez, etc...

    BUT

how about dray, brooks, and Beverley? I don't think the NBA would allow them all to play on the same team. we may not get 1 nationally televised game, but they would turn tari, jabari, and garuba into monsters.

Horford probably won't. Barnes and Lopez are free agents, so $$$
