Who Are Some New Posters That You Enjoy Reading?

I'm glad my passion for the issues and my convictions come through rather than me being a raging jackass. I'm not saying I'm not a raging jackass...but that has little to do with my posts. MadMax being a friend is definitely one of the benefits I got out of going to law school.

Who is your favorite poster named after a baseball player who wears #5?

 

I think most of the new people are not very interesting. Especially since none of them are really new but simply more invented personas created by the 20 people who actually do exist - and most are not that creative. That explains a lot.

 

I would agree about RC..easy..he's a pretty good poster......for a kid

and even tho Batman isn't technically new...I haven't read one post of his that I didn't find either entertaining, amusing, or informative..sometimes all three at once.

 

So the 20 or so people are actually creating replicants. Just different models with which to entertain themselves. These artificial constructs do the dangerous, distasteful, or tedious posts the "20" don't wish to do themselves. Sounds familiar.

The ones that jump to mind right now for me are Batman Jones. It's not just the fact that I often could hear the same words coming out of my own mouth either. He has great insightful posts.

Refman- We agree on some issues like Israel, and disagree on some like Iraq, but either way, I always enjoy his posts.

F.D. Khan has posted some really great ones too.

Cohen is another poster that I enjoy.

Jeff often provides great information and is able to cut right to the thick of things.

I love Manny's posts, especially when he uses flattery in them.

 

I like Another Brother. No one else really stands out at the moment.

I'm a new poster here (registered as dTown333 in February), so pretty much everyone I read is new to me. Out of those, I agree with y'all in saying Batman Jones. I also like Azadre and Kam, they're a couple crazy fools. rockHEAD is a funny guy too. HeyPartner is always good for some detailed information and the occasional regulating. Drewdog and JuanValdez are definitely cool as well. All of the staff are very opinionated, making for a good mind-stimulating thread whenever they contribute. My favorite poster used to be TroyBaros, but he doesn't come around much any more. <---(I'm lying) I miss Ninja Sauce and DM, because they would always make things a little more lively in the hangout. Damn, I seem to like all you guys...

BUT, my favorite poster in Troy's absence is Sir Jackie Chiles.

That tragedy aside, I do eagerly read both <b>Batman</b> and <b>Refman</b> (may I call you Robin?) posts. Would that the name-calling would stop....I'll keep reading anyway.

<b>FranchiseBlade</b>, is good too. S/he puts it out there also. <b>AnotherBrother</b> brings a refreshing view and a comic's sensibility.

Actually I read every post in each thread I open at least once. You never know where the lightning bolt is going to come from.

Okay, let me respond to this although in general, I think these "Which other posters do you like" threads are somewhat silly.

I like AnotherBrother's posts because he usually has something to say and he has a good sense of humor. Windandsea, who is still relatively new, has certainly become one of the posters whose posts I look for.

Does anybody else think that DallasThomas is TroyBaros is Steve Francis?

Hmm...he said TroyBaros used to be his favorite poster...and he immediately knew everything about DWI in Texas...very suspicious .

A great deal of the time I am out of town as I am now (Memphis), and you guys provide a very stimulating distraction from the rigors of the road. It's good to know that someone thinks that I am giving something significant back.

I vote for everyone who's been mentioned and I even add giddyup to the list, for two reasons: it was cool of him to cite Ref and me after all the back and forth, and (more) because I very much admire his passion and conviction.

This board is awesome. And, even though it gives my lady gut laughs how much time and energy I spend here, it's nice to be called out by so many cool people.

I'm just starting to distinguish between the posters here...

When you spend all your time in the Rockets Game Action and Moves forum, it's hard to tell most of the people apart, because many have similar views on things and we're all talking basketball! Most of the ones I can remember from there are the ones I don't really like...

But that's another thread, isn't it!
