given a similar meltdown that took place in Washington. I believe one person that would be the most likely to be attained and that we may consider would be stackhouse.

I haven't checked the figures, but I believe that mobley & rice would get the job done.

This is a transaction that I have a gut feeling will get done. I have no polar feeling about it one way or another.

In a positive aspect on the trade, he is a major improvement over mobley, plays good defense and gives us a viable third star.

In a negative aspect on the trade, he is overpayed, never shown the ability to play with other stars, and isn't the pure shooter we need.

Realisticlly, this is not the pie in the sky that getting brand or odom is. It is a logical step for two teams with dissapointing seasons. I just don't know if trading baggage for baggage on poor teams is a good thing. but hey, it worked for the astros when they got rid of lima for mlicki. maybe it could work for the rockets.

Kwame is already more developed than griffin. He has the body griffin can only dream of,and handles griffin will never have.he also has midrange shot that looks normal instead of a dart like eddies. He is a better rebounder, defender, and better hops to. He is just being used wrong, and not enough minutes. He will be a star, eddie wont. Its doesnt take miss cleo to figure this out if you know basketball.

Plus,he has attitude grif will never have.He is also bigger for matchups in the west. I know what Im talking about because I knew amare better than the rockets scouts.

I also like Zach Randolph. But I know the entire org is soooo lazy from top to bottom, that they will just "stand pat" and twiddle their thumbs on a golf course all summer.

mobley is irrelevent. He is useless to us.Throw him with grif plus rice for a major star,or two really good players.

    brand or zach+mcginnis or kwame+dixon

    francis/posey/morris/brand/ming

    mcginnis/francis/posey/zach/ming

    francis/posey/morris/kwame/ming

all three lineups are better than now. But mark my words: the rockets are content to stand pat. AS long as steve and mobes are tanning together by themselves in steves backyard, they will not be broken up.

I agree. I like missing the playoffs also every year because it makes it fun to trash talk to the screen. Lets keep the same lineup and just swap moochie. Miller is to pricey and so is brand and odom. God forbid we compete with Cuban. Looks like the mavs will always have a leg up on the rockets for as long as cuban is alive.

As much as I'd love to have him, I don't think the Rockets have a chance in hell of getting Redd. He was a free agent last year, and we lost our oppurtunity, I just don'e see us offering a package that the Bucks would accept. Personally, I'd be happy with Eric Piatkowski and PJ Brown, plus unloading the contracts of Moochie and MoT.

dn1282 one day I will teach you how to use that famous quote. I know it is alluring and you appreciate how powerful it can be, but if oyu do not know how to use it, you are just hurting yourself.

so please will all due respect just stop posting. It does not have to be immediate, just visit the site less and less daily, and eventually you will stop.

Redd may shake out in Milwaukee. They have D. Mason G.Payton S. Cassell taking the starting and backup spots in the backcourt. I don't see how they can dump T. Thomas or A.Mason on anyone. They need a center and a pf something fierce. No telling how that all shakes out, but they are dealing this summer.

    I might deal Grif/Mooch for Redd/Haislip.

I'm that down on Grif and that high on Redd.

pasox, I'd strongly consider that deal, mainly because I'm high on Redd and we can drop Moochie on them, however I still have some strong second thoughts about giving up on Griffin. I say give him one more year to see how he shakes out. Maybe we could get the Bucks to go for Cato/Taylor/Future #1 for Redd/Kukoc/Ervin Johnson? Yeah, so it's a homer trade, but you never know, the Bucks do need frontcourt help and both Taylor and Cato could be very solid in the East. Then we could try and package Rice or Moochie and Cuttino for a solid, veteran PF and backup PG, or just sign PJ Brown and Darrel Armstrong.

    Hey pasox,

As much as that would be nice, I thought they got rid of Ray Allen in the first place because Redd had developed so nicely and was seen as an important part of their future?

We must have this starting lineup by the end of the offseason:

    PG Steve Francis
    SG Tracy McGrady
    SF Kevin Garnett
    PF Elton Brand
    C Yao Ming

If this doesn't happen, I'll be very disappointed in you, CD.
