Since Wall is out. C - Theis/Sengun PF - Wood/Martin SF - Tate/House SG - Green/Nwaba PG - Porter/Gordon/Augustine
Honestly, our starting 5 is probably the least interesting player on this team. …didn’t even bother to see if someone already made that joke….
Has anyone from the team stated that Theis was going to start at the 5? Seems the majority believes this to be the plan. I'm not sure about that. I see him at the 4. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.
I figure by giving him the type of contract he was signed for, it’s practically implied he’ll start next Wood. Theis compliments Wood, as he will take up the slack on defense and allow Wood to thrive on his offensive pedigree.
I definitely think he'll start, but at the 4. I don't see Wood moving to the 4 for Theis. That's what I was trying to say.
All assumptions...I personally dont see him start nor want him to start. Wood is a 5 for us, throw Sengun to the wolves at the 4 and let him grow/learn. He's played against pros his entire life - learning curve shouldnt be THAT bad.
With the Wall news, to start: KPJ / Green / Tate / Wood / Theis Hopefully by season's end it'll look something like: KPJ / Augustin Green / Christopher Tate / KMJ Sengun / Garbua Wood / Theis
WHAT IF WE TRADED WALL TO DALLAS; C - Porzingis/Thies/Sengun PF - Wood/Martin SF - Tate/House SG - Green/Nwaba PG - Porter/Gordon/Augustine[/QUOTE
Top 8 play around the same minutes, just get all the young guys lots of playing time. I'm fine having Gordon in there, a solid 2 way vet being on the floor will limit some mistakes and help the young guys grow. Eric can also showcase himself a bit so he can be flipped to a contender deeper into the season. Gives more time to Christopher and Brooks after that. No interest in playing any other vets. Maybe House early in the season just to give him some trade value Wood Tate Gordon Green Porter _______ Martin Sengun Garuba _______ Brooks Christopher
Yeah, that's not happening. Both Theis and Nwaba were signed to play. Trade House to open up playing time for KJ.
James harden no longer wanting to represent the city has turned out to be an absolute blessing for basketball in this town
