Yes. I've never seen those types of commercials. I've seen the one where the black AND white guy were both cheap bragging about how little they spend. I doubt I have ever seen a commercial as you described and besides does it really matter? It is a commercial, it is fake. It is definitely not your fault but things like that did not help and there are still many whites like that today. There are high profile society clubs that blacks cannot be members of because...well they're black. Let's see, most of the blacks that are citizens of the U.S. are descendants of slaves. As I recall, most if not all slaves were not allowed to learn how to read, write, or any other form of basic knowledge. So, the elder men and women could not pass any type of knowledge on to their children. Then the children did not learn the same things others were learning as their materials were outdated and old, when they were allowed to even attend school. It remained one of those ways from 1492 till about 1960. The Indians and Asians you speak of pretty much have always been able to gain that basic knowledge and transform it into advanced knowledge in chemistry, physics, mathematics, medicine, and so on in school. My point is, that learning begins in the home. If my dad and mom do not know how to read and write, I am pretty sure I will not be able to learn also. It has been this way past 1960 and it still affects a great deal of black people today. Everything is not the same now and oppression has had something to do with it. To ignore that fact is wrong. I will admit that bad parenting, leadership, and a number of other things have also affected it. When you combine those aspects with the oppression then that makes the barriers a little harder to overcome than just a couch.

That is absolute bull****. Seriously, name one. Then lets name all of the orgs that are for blacks only. Not that I give a crap, trust me, if black people want their own organizations, enjoy. You will have zero complaints from me, just don't b**** about the world being segregated when you do it to yourselves. This type of attitude is the problem, not the solution. There are plenty of blacks that came from nothing to make something of themselves and I would guarantee that the majority of them didn't get their by having excuses. It isn't like all white people had **** handed to them on a silver platter. I have a high school education. I come from a dad that was an firefighter and a raging alcoholic. My mom worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell. I grew up very middle class but once I turned 18, I was on my own. I've had to get food from churches and soup kitchens. I've been evicted for not having enough money to pay for ****ty apartments. I lived in a trailer for a couple of years. I've had utilities turned off over and over. I've been poor. I lived paycheck to paycheck for many years. No one ever handed me a damn thing. But you know what I didn't do? I didn't think anyone owed me a god damn thing. I also never settled for anything other than success. You know what else I do? I work my butt off. I have a full time job that I work everyday and then I come home and I work till 1 and 2 am and most weekends to build my own business. I work and work and work. And it's amazing what happens when you do the right thing and work hard. You start to see success. I don't for a second think that I'm the most successful person in the world but I'm putting together a pretty decent life for my family. I'm white, I'm successful, I don't owe you or anyone else anything, and I don't apologize for it. Do something or STFU.
