    Both have exaggerated their preparedness. They are funding way more military excursions than most people know, which is a drain especially when you are mandated to buy your weapons at several times the price of your enemy's weapons and it still isn't sealing the deal. The UAE has made way more progress in terms of making the economy sustainable. Saudi had made little progress and its privatization frenzy has seen little success. Any significant foreign talent is also out of their reach unless they pay double, no one wants to live in Saudi and it's certainly a hard sell for tourists. Equally important is that out of all the oil UAE pumps out, a far greater proportion of it is reinvested in the economy vs what happens in KSA. There are allegedly over 30,000 princes in Saudi and they gotta eat.

    Another key thing is, Saudi has 23 million citizens. The UAE has just over 1 million. Totally different dynamic for countries that give handouts in exchange for servitude/silence.

    Shine a new light onto why the Admin was so protective of Saudi Arabia's role in murdering Khashoggi. Lie about our own Intel, sow doubt toward our intel saying we would never know the truth when it was already known, and finally, when it's was clear to the public what had happen, said whatever, we stand with Saudi Arabia.

    People may turn a blind eye toward corruption and self-interest of this admin, but not for the risk of nuke proliferation, to a country like Saudi Arabia, where 15 of 19 hijacker were citizens of. I think this would even cross the line for most of his supporters.

    Not only that, the final report from the Congressional Investigation stated it was likely that some financing for 9/11 came from members of their government.

    I'm pretty much sure he has mistaken the real world for an online game of whatever the most current version of Civilization is.

    If Saudi Arabia announced tomorrow nuclear tipped MRBM's, would the Iran hawks like Bolton be upset or happy?
