This reminds me of Orlando's grand plan to get Tim Duncan . . . or Chicago's grand plan to get Tim Duncan, Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady, Tim Thomas .. . or the Spurs grand plan to get Jason Kidd, or Elton Brand . . . Pinning your hopes on clearing cap-space and signing superstar free agents is a fool's bet - it doesn't work. Draft smart, spend free agent money on role players to complement your drafts, don't worry too much about cap space, it's overrated.
