    Roster:
    1) Wall (unable to trade or buy out)
    2) Eric Gordon (unable to trade)
    3) Wood
    4) Porter
    5) Tate
    6) Kenyon Martin Jr
    7) Khyri Thomas
    8) ?Olynyk? (might give Rockets two yr deal with P.O. x 2nd yr.....
likes Silas and had best career #'s.....can get some starter minutes)

    possible Bye-Bye
    House (trade)
    Exum (SnT)
    Augustin (trade)
Avery Bradley [??.....trade or team option (cut) or keep]
DJ Wilson (RFA......only good vs zone defense, not so much the rest)

    Exhibit-10's (invitee's to training camp)
    Cameron Oliver
    Armoni Brooks
    Anthony Lamb
    Cam Reynolds.

The Augustin / Khyri Thomas tale of the tape
    Augustin (Hou): 5'11"....10.2 pts.....2.1 rebs....0.4 stls....3.8 Ast.....14.8 PER.. -11.0 (+/- last 5 games)
    Thomas (Hou): 6'3".......16.4 pts.....3.6 rebs....1.8 stls....5.0 Ast.....21.3 PER....+2.8 (+/- last 5 games)

    Augustin ($7M next season)
    Thomas ($1.9M next season)

    Rookies
Possibly #1-4 pick or around #18.
    Player around #23.
    Player around #24.

Nwaba/Sterling Brown will get bigger offers elsewhere. Will accept them.
Why would they come back to full rebuild project when they will get offers from contenders?

Agree with you but need to lock in on Brooks & Oliver. We vested time in them so play them and/or trade them as promising filler. Both belong in the league and we should cash in on everything / everytime even the pennies, nickels or dimes.

I agree....just don't think our owner locks himself in to that. Wants salary flexibility. But yes an option.

Agreed on everyone but Brooks. I think he'll go into next season with a presumptive roster spot as sg depth. I like Augustin and Bradley but agree they make more sense on different teams with Thomas on board and with Gordon and Wall likely immovable.

    I agree.

There are some benefits of securing Brooks and Oliver now. Have to wait x amount
of days before they can be traded. That would take us to training camp. Teams might
like a Brooks or Oliver contract control with more substance to them. But like Melton
they are still untapped commodities. They could regress as easily as progress.

Exhibit-10 gives the Rockets the best of both worlds in a sense.

But maybe Oliver, Brooks and Lamb have shot down contract talks as they feel like
they are being short changed. Low-balled.

It would surprise me if the Rockets are making decisions on anyone until the lottery at the earliest. I doubt there have been anything more than preliminary talks with any of the free agents. At most just asking for an initial number to see how close it far apart the sides might be.

Only Wood and KPJ have the potential to be a top 20 player in the league but everyone on this squad is an asset until someone proves that they are a top 10 player in this league. I would trade all of them plus some draft picks to have Harden back.

    I agree.

Cap flexibility is more than likely, "priority 1," with so many moving parts and needs to be filled.

My great hope is that KPJ spends all summer sleeping over at the Martin household just working on his game and taking in the wisdom of an old vet.

KPJ has the highest upside and potential to be a real star out of this group IMO. Guards that can get to any space on the court, with the ability to get his own shot off at any time aren't as easy to find. He has all the moves offensively, he just needs to bring those percentages up. Moreover, what has impressed me the most about this kid is his court vision. Sure, he's turnover prone right now, but a lot of times he's making the right reads. He simply needs more reps, a lot of shooting during the summer and staying out of trouble.

Both Knicks and Magic have quality PF out their collective aces.

Julius Randle is MIP candidate while Jonathan Isaac is DPOY candidate.

There is no way either team even considers signing JC.

He missed a lot of games the year before too. I want them to trade him for the first good offer that comes. I don't think his health can be relied upon.

i didn't mean the knicks will sign him, i meant the knicks will make him look BAD.

can't imagine how horrible our defense would be with a Collins-Wood front court.
