Which Veteran should the Rockets get this offseason? PG, SG, SF, PF, C?

Would love Rondo and a Tony Allen type of wing.

Go get Dirk and trade for rondo

 

Point guard should be top priority this offseason.

 

Veteran PF/C, and a swingman off the bench. A healthy and motivated Rondo would be nice.

 

Veteran defensive PF or Wing.

 

He'd be an incredible backup, but he'll probably cost too much.

 

You think so? After not playing at all this season, I don't think he would be able to demand much salary wise.

 

I guess I forgot he hadn't played. Still, if he gets himself healthy I could see him making a good amount of money.

 

Toronto is aiming to keep their hands on Lowry and he seems to like it there

I would love to see Rondo added to this roster but I worry about team chemistry

 

At each position, cheap solid veterans
Pg: Beno Udrih. Has leadership qualities and has lots of playoff experience.
SG: Ben Gordon. Same as above.
SF: Stephen Jackson. If he comes back into the NBA that is.
PF: Scola. He'd be great back on the rockets.
C: Kaman or Varejao if he went cheap. I'd rather have Varejao over Kaman and Asik to back up Howard. If Varejao could be healthy for a full season.

 

If we could bring Courtney lee back. That would be great for the team and Howard.

 

I think Emeka would take a pay cut to play at home....He's already made some good money..

 

Boris Diaw is a guy that can defend down low and has quick enough feet to guard guys on the perimeter. He can also post up, shoot the mid range jumper, and occasionally knock down a 3.

I, too, like Courtney Lee off the bench. He's a glue guy defensively and he can hit the 3 ball.

I also like the idea of signing a guy like Marrow who can really stroke it from the outside. He would definitely help spread the floor for Howard and Harden.

Glaring need. Floor general. Coach on the court. Great handles. Can hit the three and mid range jumper. Protects the ball. Great passer.

 

the former mavs? no thanks. VC is as inconsistent as LIN. Also I think daniels is more accurate than VC. Marion is too soft for a forward.

 

I wanted Udrih this year. I think he has a two year contract though.

Scola - don't we have to wait a couple more years before we can sign him again?
