Well, if you have Showtime, try to catch "Sleeper Cell" whenever you can. It's by FAR the best show on television (network, cable, whatever). And yes, it's better and more 'authentic' than 24...far more compelling.
The Office Prison Break Heroes Arrested Development Scrubs My Name is Earl House (pretty good show, although I haven't watched it this season) Law & Order (Still awesome today)...can't go wrong with the new eye candy female detective either

I second this. I'm a pretty big dork and enjoy Sci Fi/Fantasy stuff, but even I'm pretty picky about what I like. This show is pretty cool and is more character driven than most shows like that. I highly recommend Netflix as a way to catch up on past shows on DVD.
since we have to wait until jan for the good shows to start i'm gonna check out rome, i've heard enough recommendations...
i watched both seasons, and with the exception of season 2 finale the other night, which was decent, the show just got worse and worse. and "authentic"??? give me a break. the 2nd season fell into every season television drama/suspense cliche you can possibly have.
Those 3 are great Curb is my favorite show as well. I glad they decided to bring it back again for another season.
Agreed, Sleeper Cell is the best show on tv. Far better than 24. You can download all the episodes on the torrent sites now.
just watched the last ep of the second season of sleeper cell.... while not as good as season 1, it was still damn good and i really enjoyed it now just waiting for heroes and studio 60 to come back on also really love the last series (10) of the Amazing Race, while the personalities and that love/hate factor probably wasn't as strong, the travel and challenges were brutal..... really psyched for the All star Amazing Race starting in Feb

besides everything everybody else posted, weeds is hilarious! well unless you're not so keen about drugs and stereotype stuff... its about this woman who lives in a rich neighborhood, and her husband dies, so in order for her to take care of her 2 kids and maintain the same lifestyle, she became a drug dealer. Season 2 just ended, but catch up by renting the dvd!
