I can think of very few reasons that I would ever cheer for the Lakers. They are so outrageous that they are likely never to happen.

For example, if some weird scientific experiment with Hitler's DNA managed to make him come back to life and then created a super human team of racist fascist nazi skinhead ballers with that same technology, then I could see myself cheering for the Lakers as they confronted them. If it's not something along those lines, I just don't see it happening.

I'm thinking something similar. On the one hand, Cleveland could use something good happening for them. That city has been on a slide forever. And, I have family there that would be happy for a championship.

On the other hand, a championship makes it more likely Lebron stays in Cleveland, which leaves one less superstar to court, which leaves more cap space out there and more teams to try to pick up guys the Rockets want to get. So a Cleveland championship would be bad for us.

I like Nash. Good guy. I'll be pulling for the Suns to get to the Finals.

But I do want the Cavs to win it all. Not because I'm a fan of their team or their star, but because the irrational anti-LeBron backlash just annoys the hell out of me.

Absolutely- if my dad played for the Lakers and I didn't root for them, I would feel like a total douche.

I've really taken a liking to the Magic I really like their makeup as a team.. they have it all.. inside, outside, and great defense

and mainly cuz they remind me of the Rox.. a super-talented underrated team

alota ppl overlook them EVERYTIME and i dont know WHY

stupid media hug the sack of Lebron, Kobe and the bigger market teams and its pathetic cuz they dont give deserved credit to really great teams thats not a big market

espn is sickening, if we didnt have this site, I wouldnt have a dam clue of wats goin on with my Rockets

chron.com is a joke.. altho i do like Johnathan Feigen, altho hes mega boring hahaha

I would like to see Goran Dragic win the title.

Wait, he isn't his own team?

    1. Suns (not a rival of Rockets)
    2. Magics (might as well)

    6. Lakers ( Don't want Kobe to win another... theres already enough people thinking he is on MJ's level )
    7. Spurs ( They have enough )
    8. Cavs ( Don't want Shaq to win another championship... how much of a "frontrunner" can a guy get? Penny to Kobe to Wade to Lebron :-/ )

I would rather have something catastrophic happen between the players and commish dave sperm, resulting in a sudden lockout mid-playoff. Then the season starts again next season and the Rockets win it.

    win.

    Fixed  .

I'll root for the Suns and they're fun to watch, competitive and creative, disciplined and play defense.

And the rejuvenated Grant Hill deserves a ring of his own. If the Suns set, I'll go for the Cavs because I don't want Kobe to win it all this year.

Los Suns. Not because I like any of their players, but I wouldn't mind if more teams emulated their entertaining style of play.
