Well, as long as we're living in fantasy land... I want to be the first team to have a perfect season. Chicago had a near-perfect season in '95-'96 with a record of 72-10. People say that no team will ever beat that. Last year, we showed that we could beat any team in the NBA. This year, we're going to be a LOT better. I want a perfect season.
I have a hard time taking Dallas seriously...they are pesky though...but I never really see them as a true contender...just a decent yet highly annoying team... So crushing them would be fun...along with everyone else would be nice...Historically, I really like it when we beat the Lakers...but they're less fun now... hmmmm ... so I guess I'd have to break it down like this... Dallas - because they are sort of my new Jazz Lakers - because I always like it when we beat them San Antonio - just to show dominance... Jazz - Just for old times sake Phoenix - cant have them getting too cocky
Beat me to it. Nothing against Charlotte or its players, but going winless against a terrible expansion team in their first year is not something that should ever happen to a team with two all-stars. More losses to that team and the media will start having a field day...
In our climb up the ladder in the West, we HAVE TO beat Phoenix and San Antonio- these are the only two teams who can remotely claim to be above us. Dallas comes in at third in this ranking because they beat us last year .... Coming in at fourth is Denver- this is THE up and coming team in the West. We need to establish dominance over them early for the psych-out factor. Personally, I want to see us whip up on Phoneix for reasons sited above- they are just so cocky, their fans are cocky, and their ownership is cocky. My ex-gf's sister and brother-in-law live there, and when they would visit I would have to listen to their cocky tripe about D-Backs this, Suns that, Collangelo is a god, blah blah blah. I've never been able to stand Phoenix. Secondly, I would like to see Dallas crushed because the fans pretty much carry the same cockyness about Dirk and Cuban. I am pretty ambivolent towards the Spurs- I never hated them, although I always rooted against them because they have been our consisitant rivals for 15 years. They seem like a bunch of good, down to earth guys.
alright we all hate the mavs, lakers, jazz, suns and spurs. What about the east coast teams? I say heat. screw shaq and his gorilla @$$.
Man I dunno, those spurs fans are bandwagon riders. MOST of them are true fans, but yeah, I'll have to say however that mavs fans are BIGGER band wagon riders. friggin ponies...
Dallas:- I want them in the playoffs. I want us to sweep them, and then I want to see Nowitski, Terry and Howard's heads hoisted on sticks. In the meantime we need to whip-up on Detroit and Phoenix
Just in general, Utah is my no. 1 most hated - every time they beat the Rockets, I die a little inside Dallas - obvious San Antonio - see Dallas Phoenix - all the reasons people stated LA Lakers - You just have to hate the Lakers . . . Portland - Still bitter about the Damon Stoudamire thing . . . Seattle - They're not a big on my list any more, but they're still sitting there for historical sake.
What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. -Conan the Barbarian All of them.
Took the words right out of my mouth. That playoff series last year gave me more hate, I already had a very good amount of it anyway, for that team. I hate the Mavs and hope we blow them out ever game we play them in the upcoming season.
1. I want Weatherspoon diving for the ball ending up hitting MARK CUBAN's face, crushed! 2. I want Sura blind-passing to Yao and not catching it and ending up hitting that ref who screwed game5 by not calling outOfBounds on Finley. 3. I want a hard block from Yao on Stackhouse. 4. I want to see Dirk yelling mad again at Terry. Crush the Mavz. There's no room for acting and whining in the NBA!
I want us to beat the Mavericks so badly that they board up American Airlines arena and move the team to San Diego. Oh, and screw Finley! The old b*stard that likes to steal the ball from out of bounds... I can't believe some people actually want that decrepit old jumpshooter on our team. It's just too bad Bradley got embarassed into retiring after his most recent EXPOSURE made things a little too real for him. Keep trying to buy that ring, Cuban! I swear on my mother you'll never win one as long as T-Mac and Yao are in the league! FEAR THE BLEEDING R!
