anyone as long as it's not Dallas, LA, Boston, SA or the Miami. (ny too but they aint going to the finals.) I'm sick seeing all these teams. OKC: indifferent only because they went from cellar dweller to contender in short time while we've been stuck in the mud. Orlando: indifferent Memphis: pretty cool considering they are an 8th seed. Plus I am in driving distance. (Little Rock) I would like to see the Bulls win.. only because I lived up in Chitown for a while and my buddies up there became Rockets fans since I watched them all the time. I guess I could root for them even if they have Boozer.
The Bulls are not near as good as their record indicates. Definitley won't make it past the 2nd round.
I want a Bulls vs Thunder Finals. Thibs is a fantastic coach. I would love to see him be the next championship coach. Thunder are a young team and I like Durant. Scotty Brooks is another coach with Rockets heritage. If I can't root for the Rockets, I will root for former Rockets.
I want the Lakers to win simply because it would be a defining moment in basketball history for Kobe and it would be cool to witness it
How can ANY of you root for the Bulls? Boozer, Korver, Brewer... They're jazz East. I'd rather see the Heat win.
A lot of people are jumping on the Bulls, a team with hardly any playoff experience, and a lot of questions marks about them. Flavour of the month team I guess..
Spurs, and am confused why more people aren't rooting for them. I like Duncan. This is probably his last really good shot as a leader, and so I want him to get number 5 and prove that he's better than Kobe.
Honestly, Lakers. My allegiance is to the Western Conference and I feel that they have the best shot.
Flavor of the month team with the best record in basketball, most likely the mvp, and a coach that was a huge part of a team in the finals two of the last three years. Boozer, Brewer, and Korver all have lots of playoff experience and this is Rose and Noah's third trip in a row.
Every Rocket fans know the value of Thibs. The guy is brilliant. Easily the best defensive mastermind in the game (the guy has been the architect of many of the greatest defenses of all time). This alone is why the Bulls will be a force. As far as playoff experience goes, they have been in the postseason every year in which Rose was there (including an epic in which they fought hard against the Celdicks) and added pieces to get stronger this past offseason (adding multiple players with playoff experience). I don't think its "flavor of the month," they were the best team in the league this regular season for a reason. They are deep, they have a great defensive system and a legitimate superstar PG/leader with a strong supporting cast (Boozer/Deng/Noah/Brewer).
Yeah, they are better than their record indicates, having the best defense in the league, the 2nd best point differential in the league, and the best record (by far) in the 2nd half of the season. LOL @them losing the Magic. I do, however, see them losing to the Heat (1st best point differential) in the ECF, although it wouldn't be surprising either way.
