Any team but the Spurs. I just can't stand how they get away with constant flopping and crying over calls that go against them.
Spurs. I'm a diehard Rox fan but I would like to see a Texas team win it all. Besides, I think the Spurs are the only team that can legitimately challenge Miami at this point (if Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan can remain healthy).
Where's my Thunder option? Thunder is and will be my second team until KD quits or gets traded. Yea, im a DOF. I went Thunder last year and I'll go Thunder this year.
On the one hand, I'd like the Thunder to roll through everybody, so the Rockets' 2 wins look pretty good in comparison. On the other hand, I hate the OKC Thieves and I don't want them to ever win anything. So, I'm a little conflicted there. I don't want the Warriors to win because they beat us out on the playoff seeding and got the match-up with Denver I wanted. It could be the Rockets in the second round right now. I don't like that people are calling them the Cinderella team when that should be the Rockets getting that attention. Not the Knicks because I hate all the glamor teams. So Miami is certainly out too. Not the Bulls because I still have PTSD from living in Chicago and endure obnoxious Bulls fans during the '90s. Chicago would easily be my second favorite team if it wasn't for that. I rather like Memphis and Indiana. But, I'll go with the Spurs. I don't bear the grudge so many Rockets fans have for them. I don't have an intrastate rivalry sentiment. I'm a Texan and I want Texan teams to do well.
I hate Dallas a lot, but I have no real reason to hate San Antonio. It's not like there is a moment when they have humiliated us - heck, it's the other way around, with Hakeem owning David and 13 in 33. They're a brilliant organization, and I'm also a huge Tim Duncan fan and would love for him to win one more ring and finally end the already stupid argument that he is behind Kobe as the best post-Jordan pre-Lebron player.
This thread made me feel like I am at the beginning stage of having dementia..... Actually sat here looking at the poll for like 5 minutes The Clippers lost in the first round to the Grizzlies O_O
1) Spurs - always my fallback team, I've been rooting for these guys after the Rockets are gone for nearly 15 years now. 2) Bulls - I've just become a huge fan of how hard they work, how much every guy on their team is ready to step up, etc 3) Pacers - my current hometown team during my stint in grad school 4) Thunder - my family lives in OKC now but I just have a hard time REALLY rooting for this team for whatever reason
Spurs! They are from Texas and I never had Spurs fans or San Antonio people be disrespectful towards Houston compared to LA or Dallas people. Regardless they get little or no national attention, so even if they win once again it's like they never won lol
Okay, you convinced me! Out of all the teams still in the playoffs I want the Spurs to LOSE the least..... .......... .......... ..........
I'm not really pulling for anyone, but if I had to choose one team out of these teams, I'd probably go with the Grizzlies. Even though they're division rivals of the Rockets, they've done a good job of building up that team. This might be their best shot to get to the finals.
After seeing the Bulls play this postseason I can't help but cheer for them. They've been riddled with injuries but still give it their all every possession while their star and probably healthiest player is on the bench.
Anybody but Miami Heat, can't stand them, and they reinforce the stereotype that overpaid superstar teams always win.
