I hate to say it but if Torres is our biggest surprise then that means we will have alot of injuries and Nachbar is not worthy of minutes.

Griffy - Allstar season , if not the berth. Earning serious respect league-wide. Griffy will team with Yao and they will sync up to patrol the inside with block abandon. Teams will not enjoy the Rocket sandwich. Killer competiton, though.

    Sacto - Webber
    LAL - Horry
    LAC - Brand
    Portland - Wallace
    Denver - Howard
    Phoenix - injured
GS - Fortson ? sb Jamison

    Dallas - Nowitzki
    SA - Duncan
    Min - Garnett
    Utah - Malone
    Houston - Griff!
    Memphis - Gooden? or Gasol?

Okely dokely - maybe he won't surpass Duncan and Nowitzki and Webber and Garnett, but I think he'll take his place in the West elite PF corps - certainly holding the position while our C, SF, and Gs take over against their competition.

But perhaps the right answer is Yao. People have set pretty low expectations for the guy. I think he'll do pretty well,if for no there reason - he's the perfect fit for this team.

And...let me put it down... I expect Cat to show some D this year. Yes...Really!

I pick Cuttino Mobley. I think his assist average will be the surprising thing of the year.
(I know most of you now do not respect my opinion and it has been noted)
