All the talk about AB in the other thread got me thinking, which Rocket will be most likely to be wearing another team's uniform next season?

Take into account their value, contract status and production while balancing out intangibles.

I voted "Other" for Jared Jeffries. Followed by Battier, I suppose.

Said Budinger. Cheap contract so it is easy to move. He's young and would fit nicely if Rockets trade picks.

I voted for Battier, but Hayes is also a likely option. The two are slowly becoming obsolete with the arrival of Trevor Ariza, basically a younger and more athletic Battier, and Jared Jeffries, a taller Hayes with a bit more offensive game.

Scola. He's really good S&T bait with his recent performances, and with all that "we need so and so PF", I think he's going to leave despite so many of us (me included) loving him.

With Morey trying to trade Brooks last summer for a lottery pick, I can see him doing it again this summer. I don't see enough balls to around with Brooks, Martin and Yao on the same team.

To be honest I would rather keep Battier than Ariza. Battier is the leader of this time and always play within his limit. He is a better perimeter defender and doesn't gamble too much like Ariza.

gotta be battier or jefferies as part of some kind of sign and trade. those two have a nice expiring contract year so i think that morey is going to use them plus the picks he got to get one of the big names

If there is a major trade, Battier has the biggest salary and has value as a player, so he will almost assuredly be the foundation of the trade.

the trade for Jeffries has been the writing on the wall for me...

I am sure at this point the franchise would much prefer moving ariza's contract with the martin acquisition...but considering ariza's contract that would take a small miracle at this point (believe in moreyball)

    battier.

Scola. I think the position we are most likely to upgrade is PF now that Manu is off the market, and Scola must go if that is the case. Followed by Brooks and an upgrade at PG. Martin is unlikely to go. Lowry and Battier are underrated by other teams. Everyone else could only be throw-ins in trades.

Hilton Armstrong's failure is now complete, the dude couldn't even stick on a team with NO active 7 footers. Sadly I actually thought he could make a difference...foolish me.

this is a pointless thread.. you can't predict what players we'd trade for and what the team would have to give up.
