We live in Charlotte now and NASCAR is everywhere. The guy that lives across the street from us works on Tony Stewarts Car and got us tickets on the 4th turn to the All-Star Race a couple weekends ago. I am not a big fan of racing but I have to admit that it was a ton of fun. I went to the Indy 500 last year because I was living there at the time and it was fun too but I think I liked the NASCAR race better. The end to that race was awesome.

If you're talking about Professional AMERICAN sports, then the NBA.

If we're talking sports worldwide, then soccer.

NBA, followed by a distant MLB. That's about all I follow.

Baseball, I guess the main reason is the kids and I love to watch the games and they love going to the games.

I went with the NFL, which in large part is because the games mean so much more with there being so few. I guess it's much more enticing for me to hang out with a large group of friends and catch an NFL game, or a Monday Night Football game. And the build-up of hype throughout the week for the next game helps me get through the work week.

In the past, I would've said the NBA, hands down. But in recent memory, the NBA has fallen behind the NFL, college football and college basketball for me. I think some of it had to do with the Rockets temporary demise, but also just the general direction of the league being so hard to recognize as far as players go. Back in the day, the NBA draft was one of my favorite days of the year. Now, I haven't seen half (or more) of the players ever play before. I'm not saying they shouldn't be in the draft. I'm just saying that the unfamiliarity I have with the "new blood" makes the league less intriguing to me.

    1. College Football - There's nothing like it. Best rivalries, best tradition, most exciting games. I live for Saturday afternoons in the fall.

    Despite its shortcomings, the NBA.

It's my favorite sport, and I think there has been an appropriate number of dynasties(One way to measure the strength of a league, IMO). The Lakers are the closest thing to the Evil Empire, and they occasionally go a few years without winning.

I think NFL football is the best built sport. But, as much as I find it inherently good, I don't actually watch it. So, basketball it is.

There is nothing like baseball, if it makes any sense, the MLB seems mroe pure than the NBA, which seems to be taken over by endorsements and shoe deals.
