Duncan is better than the rest. He also has more rings than the others.

MoMoney has not been too shabby of late. At least, you can not argue with the results.

If Duncan were on the Rockets, they would still need a PF since he would play center.

Okay, then we get Duncan & plug him into the center spot. We take Garnett & plug him into the SF spot. Finally, we take Webber & plug him in at the PF spot. Giving us a team of:

    C: Duncan
    PF: Webber
    SF: Garnett
    SG: Mobley
    PG: Francis

Now, that's a dream team. [IMG] I think we'll need some of Paul Allen's money or maybe Mark Cuban would want to get in on this action. If they stayed healthy, who could beat them? Okay, back to reality.

Nope, reality really sucks, I'm going back to dream land. [IMG]

    C: Duncan/Dream/Marc Jackson
    PF: Webber/Brand
    SF: Garnett/Odom
SG: Mobley/Finley/Jordan (3rd, at least until he gets into game shape)
    PG: Francis/Baron Davis

Hey, a guy can dream can't he?

That's an impressive list.I guess I'd take Duncan, but if I had to go with a guy not on that list,it would be Ratliff.

The title for this thread is incorrect.

If we picked up Duncan, Webber, or Garnett(Possibly Wallace), then Stevie and Cuttino would probably be doing the complimenting.

Danny Fortson compliments, Tim Duncan dominates.

I'd like the ref who tossed Francis. With him on your team, you couldn't lose.

Living in Minnesota, I've had an opportunity to see KG play a lot. When he decides to take over a game, he is scary good and can hit from anywhere. But much of the time, he tries to blend his game with the games of his teammates and concentrates on rebounding and defense. While that doesn't always work with the stiffs Minnesota has around him, it would be perfect for the Rockets backcourt in that he would never complain about not being the focal point. His versatility is also a plus.

Garnett, no question about it . . .

I believe he's the youngest, and IMO, has the most upside and is/will be the best by far.

ahhhh, Webber. I'm personally hoping he ends up in Orlando or something though, no offense, I've just been a Magic fan since 89 when they picked Nick Anderson and I haven't looked back.

Rasheed Wallace. That way the refs would focus on him more and maybe, just maybe they'll allow Francis to actually, dare I say it?: Dunk a basketball.

In order of how they would fit with the Rocks:

    1) Garnett
    2) Duncan
    3) Webber

This is not necessarily the order of how good these superstars are, but of how good they'd mesh with the rest of the Rocks, IMHO.

Like Trapped in MN mentioned, KG is the type of player that doesn't DEMAND the ball - especially in the clutch - and can be effective without too many touches. For the T'Wolves, that has been a drawback of his (perhaps his only known weakness), as they don't have enough alternative scoring options to turn to. But with Mobes and Stevie here, thats ideal. He can score when asked, but more importantly he can rebound, defend, block shots and just flat out too everything. Plus, his attitude is unbelievable and should fit in with the team's current close-knit, energetic persona.

I pick KG and Duncan ahead of Webber because of their age. Whereas CWebb is about 4-5 years older than Houston's core, the other two are around the same age (if not even younger). Webber is probably the most complete player of the three, Garnett the most versatile, while Duncan the most dangerous.

'Sheed could be mentioned in the same paragraph as the above if his 'reputation' weren't clouding over his game. Guy needs serious anger management.
