I sure hope it ain't Brunson. I never thought I'd feel this way about him, but I'd rather us go after Tim Thomas. He gets a 30 game tryout to see if he can fit in. If he can fit in, he should be reasonable to sign for next season. TT has the ability to give us more defensively and offensively than Brunson. I would think TT would give us more opportunity for success this season. Isn't Brunson about 35?
I agree about Tim Thomas but when it comes down to it, why would he want to sign here? He has his choice of basically any contender in the conference, why settle for a lottery team like Houston? I suppose the only argument to make is he would probably play here, whereas he probably wouldn't play at all for San Antonio and maybe not for Phoenix.
