"might?" are you suggesting there's a scenario where we'd win a championship w/ webber and you still wouldn't want him on the team?

    I say C-Webb......

I saw him play with the Sixers a few weeks ago here in Milwaukee (I've mentioned this in another thread, so bear with me). He runs up and down the court like his leg is tied to someone else's in a three legged race. Its really akward, and not fun to watch. To realize what a guy of that talent level has come to, and fallen so fast it seems.

Remember when he was in that contract year a few years ago with Sacto, and ideas were floating around in an ESPN the Mag article about where he'd go? Houston was one of those places (to run with Cat and Franchise). I think that would have been a stellar team. I don't think we would have won jack squat though. Ever since Web called that TO vs UNC that he didn't have,.......well I've never really seen him have a killer instinct. You know what I'm talking about?? That instinct that just one guy will take over, and there is nothing your going to do to stop him (i.e. MJ(anytime in the playoffs), T-Mac in the McMiracle (among others games), the younger Reggie Miller (allthough he won't go out with a bang will he?), an Allen Iverson even)

    Just my opinion...

They will all look pretty good on our team.

The only guy I'm thankful that we don't have at this point is Webber. He is a max contract player with big time health concerns. All the other guys are overpaid, but are either close to the end of their deals or young enough to play out their contracts and significantly contribute to the team. And if we had a healthy Juwan ... the list would probly be reduced somewhat more.

But I don't think we ever had a realistic shot at any of these guys in the poll so the point is moot.

Juwan has balanced out his crappy performance earlier this year with some good showings lately.

Yeah, C Webb had a good career, but do you want him now? all these people were in the trade mix this year, so thats the point of the post.

    We got V Baker!

Webber was suppose to put Philly over the top as contenders, but so far, Kenny Thomas looks like the man in Sacremento. Did you see the numbers he put up against the Lakers?

    No No

This post is looking back at the trade deadline and all the trade talk about POWER FORWARDS. We got rid of Mo and got Vin Baker, but all these other dudes got traded (Boozer was rumored to gone) and now you can see the impact of these players. So Webber, for example, plays like Buck Johnson now he's with the Sixers and he's always hurt. So this qualifies as a 'THANK GOD WE DIDNT TRADE FOR HIM'.

You left out Antonio McDyess, the explosive phenominal PF who was never the same after 3 straight seasons of injuries. He was interested in coming to Houston but was later rejected due to lack of interest.

Of course, the Rockets instead blew all their money on the brilliant acquisition of Scottie Pippen...

Discussing Rockets player moves for the past few years(not including the most recent one) is just depressing.

Why is KT on that list?

With my hindsight goggles, I'd sure rather keep him than try to develop Eddie Griffin.

My vote was for Keith Van Horne. These fools up here in Dallas actually are going gleep over him since he's been with the Mavericks. The level of self delusion amongst Mavericks fans is incredible. The guy is softer than tissue paper, cannot guard tissue paper and gets accolades for scoring 6 points last night against Seattle. I call him the second coming of Shawn Bradley. And this is while playing 24 minutes a game and getting paid $15 million - the highest paid player on the Mavericks. I can't wait until the playoffs start so I can watch the opposing team run layup drills when he's playing the 5.

I still wish we could have somehow gotten PJ Brown along with Wesley...Man PJ Brown would be the Otis Thorpe of this team.

KT was traded from Philly to Sac town this year.
Its about the people who were traded or suppose to be traded this year.

And he's still a much beter deal than Crochere. An Indiana Fan would much rather have Taylor than Croshere. Croshere couldn't post up against a point guard in the West.

I dont know I actually wish we had any one of them right now.. I guess with the injury to JHoward and our replacement being CSpoon (who couldnt get off the bench w/ NYK).

If he are talking about the next year I hope we stay away from CWebb he is falling apart.

Dont forget the consequence of getting these dudes. They all make outrageous salaries. There are like the Wizards version of JUWAN HOWARD.

KVH? He's not even a power forward (more of a 3)..that guy gets injured every season...he already plays like an old man.

Too bad we can't get a brusing power forward like Haslem.
