After watching Dan Dickau and Brevin Knight against the Rockets, I would say the Clippers are in need of a point guard. Sam is probably gonna retire after the end of the season and Livingston's status is up in the air. Thus, we could maybe trade one of the four pgs we have to them.

First of the list.... Rafer. You have to think that if Rafer wasn't shipped this offseason that his value is too low to get anything for him straight up. Having said that, he is a pure point with a hint of shooting. He at least has to be able to contribute to one of the many teams in need of point guard leadership. Seeing as we qualify as one of those teams, it would be hard to make a case that Rafer is more of a solution to anybody else than to us.

Atlanta, Boston, Memphis, Minnesota all come to mind as teams who could use Rafer or MJ.

Novak sounds like the most movable commodity. Seeing as I'm one of those who think he could contribute to THIS team, I suppose I've already decided he would contribute to other teams. I would love to keep him, but there is no use if he isn't going to see floor time soon.

Please, don't trade Deke. Would be highly coveted by most teams, but the Rockets would really regret it, unless they were offered a younger player that they couldn't refuse.

We have a winner! This is the most logical post so far. The question is with Brand injured are they content on being lottery bound. If so don't expect any bites from them.

Boston could do with a vet PG. Any of what Rockets could offer.

Knicks want more 3P shooting to help spread the floor for Curry.

Philly might like Snyder's expiring contract.

I think Cassell mentioned wanting another multi-year contract away from the Clippers.

I could see some teams being interested in Kirk Snyder because he's a big guard that's young, athletic, and affordable. A "potential" player, if you will.
He's not going to succeed in a structured system but I could see him being a decent spot guy off the bench in Phoenix, Golden State, Memphis, and Toronto. Maybe the Magic just because they're weak at the SG position.

Chicago for sure could use Scola, we could get Nocioni 3pt shooting if we package another player with Scola.

If somewhat we can trade Bonzi and any PG to get rondo from the celtics that would be excellent i like the young PG and we could bring back some expiring contract.

Toronto is more likely to me the team with more talent that don“t will be able to re-sign cause they have many expiring contracts on the down side that will turn into mid level or high contracts, I think if Morey is fast enough he can offer some expiring along witha player like Hayes or Battier that could do well there and get back someone of the likes of Calderon, Kapono or Delfino to shoot the 3 or someone like Jamario Moon if we would like to part with Battier maybe.

Dallas and PHX, those teams would love someone who bother the spurs, i think PHX will use him more because the have lost Thomas Defense.

    Interesting question.

I believe Bulls need a shake-up (starting with coach and GM, but that's another issue) and a deal of Battier and Rafe for Heinrich just might be something they could bring to the Rox.

Another team underperforming (besides the Rox and Bulls) is Denver. The Nugs could be believed to call the Rox and request Rafe and Bonzi and try to get build a package back here for K-Mart.

Finally, I believe Riles would identify Head to be 'new'-Kapono. Add Bonzi for Doleac and The Pat would likely offer a conditional 1st (and maybe a 2nd).

I would like to believe the Bulls one, I would I would...

Heinrich is really in the midst of a terrible shooting slump and has been turning the ball over at a record rate, for him. Might be a possibility. Van Gundy was supposedly very high on him.

I really like Hinrich for our team...if we could package Battier,Alston,Head,Novak for Hinrich and Sefolosha or draft pick...then we could re-sign M. Harris

Call me crazy but I think some teams would trade for a Scola/Hayes combo. By the end of the season they should be really attractive. They're such a great hustle due but I'm assuming that Scola will have developed an offensive game at the post.

heinrich is shooting 35 percent and 20 percent from behind the arc. But I would trade him for racer in a heartbeat.

Basically, nobody would want two of our five starters. Doesn't that tell you something about our team, our coach, and our GM?

Funny you should say that, because my brother is a Jazz fan, and we were discussing a Kirilenko-Battier deal in passing this offseason. Supposedly they'd really like to have a guy who can shoot in Kirilenko's spot, especially given the emergence of Brewer, who also isn't a shooter (heck, a lot of Jazz fans thought they were more effective with Harpring in the game, solely because he was a better shooter). They feel like maybe Kirilenko would do better given considerable time at the 4, but with Boozer, Okur, and Millsap that's not gonna happen. They also lack a good backup point guard.

In short, from my brother's perspective as a Jazz fan, he'd jump on a Kirilenko for Battier + Rafer + (throw-in player). They might even give a 1st to get that contract off.

Of course, whether we want AK47 is another story. That contract is damn ugly. But it would let us move T-Mac to the 3 and free up more backcourt minutes (which would improve our speed as a team), and AK47 could play a lot of 4 for us to good effect, I think.

I know i am crazy. But this is the most tradable deal: Rafer for JHo. We get rid of RA because We have MJ. We need good Midrange J for the sake of the playoff. We also have a bunch of JHo fans here. ;)

Or trade Rafer + Battier for Maggette and a filler.
