Celtics have since the big 3, the heat since the evil big 3, and the clippers because of griffin's spotlight from espn and Cp3 and of course the bulls.

The lakers have always had bandwagon fans in my eyes because of kobe I wouldn't even count them anymore.

Year in and out has to be the Lakers. Don't really hear from them all year until playoff time then they crawl out of the woodwork.

I imagine for most of the 90s, it was Bulls, but since the Kobe/Shaq Era, definitely the Lakers....currently probably Lakers/Miami/OKC/Clippers

It's easily Miami. It always has been. That town isn't a sports town. Most of their fans are fair weather fans.

lakers easily. they are only kobe fans that call themselves a fan of the lakers. they have no sports knowledge and only time you hear from them is during the playoffs. they never been to LA either. wait till the rockets get really good. if the lakers are bad during that time you will see people who call themselves lakers fans in houston call themselves rockets fans. so freaking annoying

    Entitled Fair-weathers are the WORST>

But, I will contend they aren't quite as bad as the Miami fanbases (Heat/Dolphins/Marlins).

The Rockets... ever since our dynamic duo of Chase and Chandler came to town.

Lakers and Heat. Here in Austin I don't see many Bulls or Clippers jersey's. It's all Lakers and Heat jerseys. And Dirk jerseys but that's cause It's Austin.

    The Heat.

Lakers fans are now Lakers fans. At least the ones I meet. They have usually been Lakers fans their whole life.

Well its a trendy thing, Dallas last year (felt like Dirk just entered the league since everyone got on his d).
By far the most aggravating thing to deal with.

A lot of people jump on the bandwagon of whoever is playing the Heat.

    See: Dallas last year, Indiana.

I'm not sure if what you are describing really makes people bandwagoners. If you are from Milwaukee and have always liked the Lakers you aren't a bandwagoner if you stick with them. Being to the city is not a requirement to be a non bandwagon fan; as long as you stick with one team you aren't really a bandwagoner but maybe a bit of a frontrunner if you only like the historically best teams.

I think you have to seperate rooting for a team and calling yourself a fan of the team.

I was rooting for the Mavs to beat the Heat.

I am rooting for the Spurs to win this year's championship.

I am still only a Rockets FAN but I still root for teams in individual matchups.
