Front loaded 16m/3 year deal is the maximum I'll take Battier for.

if Battier asks for anywhere from 4-5 mil per/year the Rockets should keep him but a maximum of a 4 year deal like I would go 14/3 years or 18/4 with the last year only partially guaranteed for 2 million

Battier will not demand the MLE. He wants a long term contract, at least 3 or 4 seasons. I will be surprised if a team offers him $5 million.

Hahaha the idea of anyone thinking battier getting scola type money is lol funny. Yes their will be interest in Shane but at his age, I would be surprised if get got the full mle. I think we should let him walk if that turns out to be the case, his skills are deteriorating, his offense is shaky at best. Hopefully terance Williams turns into at least a short term (if not long )answer should battier leave.

i wanna keep battier--he is a damn good player even though the stats dont reflect allstar numbers--he is smart-he is tough-ill always remember him bleeding rockets red for us against LA in the playoffs--imo he is everything you want to hang on to in an organization--i love him to retire here--

I'd say he's more likely to get the LLE.

Carl Mandry should get the MLE.
