The player advantage goes to '12, coaching goes to Jackson. Coaching in the NBA is overrated, so '12 wins.

if memory serves me correctly, blazers were up 15 going into the 4th.....FT disparity in that game 37-16, and 2 of the blazers top 3 players fouled out....nba action it's fantastic

I got a laugh out of that. ^^

I'd pick the current Lakers. Kobe, Gasol and Howard are top 3 in their positions. Nash is still a top 5 PG.

I consider the current Lakers a big 5. Artest is better than given credit for despite losing a step. Ever since he joined the Lakers people forgot what he did in Houston and ignore how his offense increases when someone is out.

It's not that lopsided between the 2 teams. Payton came off a season averaging 20/8, with an all-star selection. Malone came off a season averaging 20/7/4, 2 seasons removed from an all-star selection putting up similar numbers. Malone stayed in amazing shape.

Would be interesting though.. Malone over Pau, Shaq over Dwight, Even between Payton and Nash.. And Kobe over Kobe..

No way to know, but intriguing question

Shaq in the lakers era would kill Dwight and Gasol.

I take shaq's team over any team that do not have hakeem, wilt, russel and abdul jabbar.

It has to go to the '04 team, especially if Jackson is included. Shaq, when engaged, would dominate Dwight and Pau in his '04 version.

Its a shame Kobe can't coexist with the Machine. I guess 2 alpha dogs can't be on the same team.
