Well, I was popular in school but generally loathed by teachers - they would always try to make me look stupid...and always failed. I even was told that a guidance counselor - a person I had never even talked to - was telling people about how much she hated me...a year after I had graduated. Gotta love poorly funded public schools! Anyway, debate saved my life, so screw you. It literally kept me off of "the streets," as I was pretty bad before. It served its purpose. I was scouted and recruited by colleges, but I wanted it to end after high school, so it never really created my identity, I guess. Lol, Buck...I was also captain of the Texaco Academic Team. I was forced into it! So I "showed them" by never practicing and only showing up for competitions so I could sit in my captain's place. Damn, that was a different life...I don't even remember that person anymore.
I was captain of my AcaDec team. My school had never fielded one before and some freshmen were trying to do it. One of my teachers asked me to be on the team so I did it. I was the only person that was halfway decent and I won two medals and a hundred bucks.
There were a lot of hot girls on the tennis team and our band was the only organization that got any trophys. I guess the dorks were the golfers, but then again I was a golfer
Haha, I am in both Marching band and tennis. you know our color gaurd IS hot. So Marching Band kicks ass
the marching band by far, at my school there dumbasses practice on the baseball field so it they tear up the baseball field and a couple of my friends are on the baseball team so i think its bull**** that they have to go fix holes and crap that the marching band makes.
