honest to God method that works every time, if you are interested... 1. fill a glass with water (1/4 full or so) 2. while standing straight up, take a deep breath then exhale completely. 3. take a generous swig of the water, but do not swallow (hold in your mouth). 4. bend slowly at the waist, all the way towards your toes 5. rise slowly 6. once you reach the halfway point, swallow the water (do not breathe afterwards!) 7. continue to rise to your fullest point. 8. breathe in. have done this for years and it always works. have suggested it to friends, as well, and it has always worked. compresses and flushes all trapped air from your diaphragm.
This works for me.. Go to a water fountain, and drink the water like a dog does with your tongue out.
hold your breath for about 20 seconds. that has worked every single time since a friend in 5th grade told me to do it. NEVER.....EVER FAILS.
When I get the hiccups, I just decide to stop hiccuping..... .....and it works, every time. Power of the mind, grasshoppers.
