Boxing can be corrupt, with bought judges...home cooking and everything else.

But frankly UFC bores the living crap out of me.

Great thread, i was thinking of this the other day.

Boxing is better but it's becoming extremely corrupt like the other poster said.

Boxing all the way. MMA is nice and all that but boxing is probably the toughest sport to practice and I have great respect for boxers.

I prefer MMA, but I'm a fan of both sports.

The thing about MMA is that fighters actually have train their boxing, as well as their wrestling, karate, Judo, Jui Jitsu, etc etc. MMA just a more dynamic sport.

There is a video of Anderson Silva sparring with a professional boxer, and he more than holds his own.

I don't know but I think it is pathetic that no bar is showing the boxing match. If they can show every single NFL game on Sundays then they should be able to show both the UFC and boxing.

I like both, but prefer MMA. I wish I could be a bigger boxing fan but until we get to see Mayweather/Pacquiao, I'm never going to be really excited. Besides Fedor/Brock, the UFC is giving us good fights almost every month.

I welcome you to the present because there is no Ali in boxing anymore and Chuck Liddell's career is history. :)

Seriously? UFC 100, 101 and 102 we're some of the most entertaining cards I've seen.

i'm not talking about the cards, but the fight itself.

    ufc 101 was the worst.

GSP last 2 fights were boring.

Man, you must have missed Wednesday’s fights.

I'm a huge MMA fan but was a Boxing fan growing up. The corruption in Boxing kind of turned me off. I'm looking forward to tonight’s boxing match though.

I agree with SEW's comment "The thing about MMA is that fighters actually have train their boxing, as well as their wrestling, karate, Judo, Jui Jitsu, etc etc. MMA just a more dynamic sport."

I'll choose MMA over the sweet science of Boxing.

Really? BJ Penn vs Florian was good. But I'm assuming ur a Forest Griffin fan if you didn't enjoy his match vs Silva, that was one of the most entertaining UFC fights I've seen, it was short, but nonetheless entertaining as ***.

I can see why you would consider GSP's fights boring, but I actually enjoy watching him dismantle his opponents with strategy. GSP is probably the best OVERALL mma fighter around.

UFC... Its much more entertaining. So many ways a fighter can win/lose a fight. In boxing if a fighter is winning he just gets on his bicycle and runs aways for the rest of the fight. You can't do that in the cage.

Boxing PPV = 1 good fight

MMA PPV = 5 good fights
