Cassell. Cassell Cassell Cassell. Did I mention Sam Cassell? Yeah, I'm sure I did. Robert Horry wouldn't be a bad addition. And Scotte Brooks could sure teach Billy a thing or two about cheerleading.

Oh, and Avery Johnson, Pat Riley, and Mike Dunleavy are NOT options. Don't even mention them, you JVG haters.

Haha. That would be very funny watching Avery coach this team.

Seriously though, if Cassell and Horry wanted to sign with the Rockets, knowing Van Gundy, he'd have them signed, especially Horry. Horry is definately a JVG kind of player: smart, efficient, good clutch 3-point shooter, and veteran. Maybe this can still happen in the near future. I miss Rob.

Horry and Cassell. Horry can play 3 positions, can shoot and is a solid defender. Cassell would be the scorer/shooter we need off the bench.

    Scott Brooks :D

This would be a great starting lineup (and very tall)

    C Yao
    PF Hakeem
    SF Moses Malone
    SG Drexler
    PG Tmac

    Bench:

Cassell, Horry, Elie, Mobley, Maxwell, Barkley

You would appear to have a fixation.

The correct answer is "Vernon Maxwell."
Also acceptable would have been "Clarence 'Chucky' Brown" or Ralph Sampson.

how about Kalenna Azubuike from earlier this year? he's had some very nice games for GS, scoring in the 20's at times, hitting 3's at a nice percentage in those games

    either him or Chuck Nevitt

Sorry -LOL I meant Rodney McCray

He could run the break very well-as larrge or taller than Rafer- very few turnovers with a nice shot. Played well with big men like Hakeem and Ralph. He was under- rated at the time and a very nice player.

See film form '86 playoffs - dude could run th fast break and pass very well.

Nobody would wanna guard him down low. He'd also be a lockdown defender cause no one wants to back him down in the post.
