Which former Rocket would most likely help us if we got them back today?

    Mobley if we got rid of Rafer. Rafer and Mobley on the floor at he same time would be horrid. Yao or TMac would never get touches.

    Kenny Thomas if we got rid of either Juwan or Hayes. Kenny needs to play 35 minutes+ this time around.

    (For those of you that complain about how the board is now, you should've seen what it was like when those two were our best backcourt options in the playoffs)

    Championship in the bank...if we had Sam Cassell and Robert Horry as they are right now in 2007.

    Horry would be a better complement to Yao than Chuck Hayes. Horry has won championships with the 3 best big men in the last 30 years: Hakeem, Shaq, & Duncan. He also cherishes possessions by sacrificing shots for better % shooters--a trait Rafer needs to gain.

    Cassell is money from the outside. Smart...can still create.

    John Amaechi. No players would want to body him up. He would be left to score and rebound as our PF, anytime he wants. Stick him in the lane, and there will be nobody wanting to penetrate.

    I would take Hakeem back to play PF alongside Yao, that would be a great fit imo. Even OT would do.

    I would also like Cat or Steve back. The current rockets team could really use someone who can score and create for themselves off the dribble.
