Very underrated movie in my opinion. I always thought it was just another movie about the life of some ghetto black guy, so it never really caught my interest.

I first saw it about a year ago on Mtv when I was bored and nothing to do. Im glad i saw it though, really enjoyed it.

That scene where Tyrese is having a dream, (where it seems hes in his mothers womb?) really creeped me out. It was one of those things that everytime I closed my eyes, that scene would get in my head, lol.

Drama: The Godfather. Not my favorite movie, in my top 20, but a landmark film. Still go back and forth on with it for Godfather II is better, but you can't watch the second without having seen the first.

Action: Raiders of the Lost Ark

    Suspense/Thriller: Rear Window

    Horror: Exorcist

Comedy: Some Like it Hot. One of only a few older comedies with timeless humor.

Western: The Searchers (Unfortunately, I have never seen a Sergio Leone western)

    Animation: Grave of the Fireflies

Musical (traditional): Singin in the Rain

    Musical (rock) : A Hard Day's Night

    Documentary: Crumb

    Sports: Hoop Dreams

    Romance: Casablanca

    And for kicks:

Porno: The Opening of Misty Beethoven. Certainly not the most erotic, buy is actually a very good movie with witty dialogue. Back when pornos strove for at least a modicum of respect

    Any genres I missed?

I put Godfather part II as the must see. The Godfather is based on a book, and the book still beats the movie.

Part II isn't based on a book, from what I know, and is amazing. Read the book, and watch part II haha.
