    that's one crazy recommendation.

so crazy, that i just set it to record on uverse on the "Centric" channel (515) at 1 am.

always gotta respect somebody who doesn't give a cliched response and answers with something like this.

You know....The Godfather is definitely a top 10 -15 film for me. But, IMO Godfather 2 is that rare exception as far as sequel/prequels go. Pacino's Michael plays to his strengths..It's raw power, but controlled. On the other hand, DeNiro speaks Italian for much of the film along with detailed nuances...shows his range. And Coppola grew quite a bit between the two films.

Godfather 2 is absolutely my top five films as well. Deniro is PERFECT and Pacino is not far behind.

The reaction people have to this movie will tell you a lot about them.

City Lights/The Great Dictator, Citizen Kane, The Room.

Those two Chaplin movies for both history and to see the pure emotional depth that has existed in film since it's very birth.

    Citizen Kane for obvious reasons.

And The Room because of the exact opposite reason of Citizen Kane. It is the benchmark of how NOT to make a movie, and is subsequently the most hilarious thing I've ever seen.

Just a great film in every way. For those of you who have not seen it, you won't be disappointed.
