I now use Gmail because I dont want to change emails when I change isp, and sometimes change even when I don't (comcast).

I have an email account, but I really don't know how to write emails.

I recieve tons of mails everyday, from people I don't know

trying to sell me Viagra pills and deposit their money in my bank accounts.

    I am overwhelmed.

    :(

    question:

I liked how they would identify the city with roadrunner emails..like houston.rr.com or tampa.rr.com or austin.rr.com

-Does Comcast also have these city extensions or is it all just..comcast.net

-Also why is it comcast.net and not comcast.com?

Just a guess: comcast.com would be for their employees, while .net would be for their customers. Just a guess...

I have four primary email accounts:

Yahoo! (I actually pay for the premium service)
    GMail
    Work
    Spam (mail.com)

If any of you freaks try to email me, guess which account it gets shuffled to? :)

BTW, I get the first 3 accounts all on my iPhone (IMAP), which has been pretty neat. (Hey, I'm new to the smartphone game.)

I have a school issued email, but our school outsourced our email to microsoft live. Then I use thunderbird to download the messages to my computer. All my email is also sent to my gmail account which I then use to download messages to my iPhone (the pop service was too unreliable)

I used to think that until Google introduced Gmail back in '04. I remember everyone thinking it was another one of their annual April Fools pranks, but it was for real. I got an invite, signed up and I was completely hooked.

Forget the conversation feature, built in chat, incredibly useful interface etc. etc. The search capability ALONE makes Gmail worth it.
