1) Coldplay (Scientist)- they are pretty good. if you like that kinda music, buy it. I downloaded the album. pretty good. 2) John Mayer (Why Georgia Why)- i dont like him. 3) Saliva (Rest in Pieces)- don't know much bout them 4) AudioSlave (Like a Stone)- good album 5) Maroon 5 (Harder to Breathe)- don't know much bout them 6) Evanesence- pretty good album. i downloaded it. very good.
Though I'm not saying it's good, Evanescence isn't rap-metal at all. That one song is the only one that has any male vocals. The rest of the album is just the woman's singing. A friend of mine said it's good, but the 'radio hit' has little to do with the rest of the album.
That's because, and no one realizes this, the guy from "Bring Me To Life", is Paul Mccoy of the band 12 Stones. He is not even in Evanescence. Evanescence is an ok band, but I hate when people compare them to Linkin Park just because they have one song, that doesn't even sound like Linkin Park, with a guy in it. For the people who say this.... Learn what you are talking about, before you say anything about it.
i am a huge 311 fan and id like to know the answer to this question too. i didnt really like from chaos as much as i liked their other albums and im worried because ive heard mixed things about evolver. 311 is still one of the best live bands ive seen.

Best album pre 1970 without Mozart: It is mandantory to own this album so if you don't then you have to buy it.
Nah, it's a three-way tie: Buy approximately 3 weeks apart to prevent brain from overloading and exploding with sheer joy.
A good one, no doubt. But I actually like The Unforgettable Fire better. It's still my favorite U2 album and IMO one of the best albums of the 80's.
A rudager, I love sigor ros and bdb, but I don't know who Chris Thile is. Is that how you spell his name, because Kazaa ain't pulling much up?
The real value of The Joshua Tree isn't in the three giants that open the album up, but in the non-singles that follow. Amazing stuff on that album, really well tied together. The UF is a good album, but just lacks the wallop that the JT delivers. And sigor ros and BDB, although great albums, are no where near the vacinity of T JT, although they are alot more recent and hence better suited to this thread.
He's the mandolin player from Nickel Creek, and yeah, that's how you spell it. Strange, I downloaded all three of his albums off Kazaa, but that was quite a while ago. Just go buy it. It's the best album I've ever heard, and I'm an Abbey Road faithful. Haven't heard Joshua Tree (I'm only familiar with War, which is pretty good, but I'm just not a U2 kind of guy), but I can't imagine it being anywhere near Agaetis Byrjun. It's the music of the future! (Hopefully.) Ah well, to each his own.
Cant's go wrong with Coldplay (both of their CDs although the first is better). Audioslave is also a very nice CD. Like A Stone is one of my favorite tracks. The band I'm currently into is The Coral though they may be hard to get a hold of in the States. Definately worth it if you can get our hands on one of their two albums!
