You should take up the offer from these guys offering to build you one. I bought a gateway a year ago that only needed a better video card and better power supply for less than $600 to run those games you listed. You should be able to do better for less than $800.
Yeah, that computer is overkill for all of the games you've listed except perhaps WaW. Everyone else has already offered plenty of reasons to go the DIY route, so I won't add to that further except to say +1.
