    Karl
    or
    SVG

jVG has been away from the game for too long, the game has passed him.

Uh, how about an established veteran coach like Karl / Hollins, and not a collegiate coach?

3 plays, which is 2 more than we currently have. Maybe even 3 more, if McHale is freelancing it.

More importantly, with JVG, we'd have actual defense. I mean, could you imagine? ACTUAL defense?

Plus, I think Howard would also get a huge boon from working in JVG's halfcourt offense.

3 plays is still better than the give to Harden and get out of the way play Rockets love to use.

Karl and Hollins come to mind. Probably some others out there. McHale is likable, but you can color him gone unless the team rebounds.

Any coach that can bully the players into playing some defense

You know your coach sucks when people are suggesting Charles Barkely as a replacement

I agree with most posters here. Karl, or one of the VG's...
but just to throw a name out there is Sam Cassell
Honestly I love McHale as a person. Seems like a laid back coach, but we all know he doesn't make the right calls and adjustments.

Lionel Hollins is the only man for the job.

He'll put an end to all this singing, dancing, freelancing, streetballin', and shaqtin' a fool by this team. He would instill some discipline and emphasize defense and a more half-court style of play, which is necessary for playoff success.

Why? Are they better coaches than Gregg Marshall? I don't think so.
