I wanted to choose Rudy T. But our roster is somewhat more similar to Rick's Sacramento several years ago... where he had no real superstars. Although C-Webb was playing great, I don't think he can carry a team by himself. He needed to be surrounded by good players to become a great player. I don't consider Peja, Bibby, Christie, Jason Williams, Vlade as superstars. They're just average to above average players playing on a winning team, which makes them look like super players.

I choose Rick. Too bad he can't duplicate the same success with the Rockets. But no other coach will, either. Just my opinion.

if its the current roster, i believe RA is the man, i mean he's the one who assembled this team. rudy t is a close 2nd, its so unfortunate he had health problems. JVG?? r u kidding me? he's a good defensive coach but if you guys are complaining so much about RA not playing younger players then when JVG coaches, there will be more complaints about this. and Rockets was boring to watch when he was in charge. we wont even get any offensive rebounds. and we will see clarence weatherspoon, mark jackson, charlie ward, allan houston come back from retirement

I am not a blind homer so obviously I would choose Phil Jackson on any list.

Phil Jackson needs superstars to be successful... this team has none.

If you made me pick one, I'd go JVG, but otherwise, it's nobody. This team just isn't talented enough, doesn't matter who the coach is.
