no one left on worse terms than my namesake, tinman.

you're not a rockets fan...you're a fan of rockets past. maxwell absolutely crapped on the team by not accepting a role on the team where he could have been hella-utilized. a scorer off the bench behind a certain HOFer named Clyde.

im the greatest rocket fan of them all. i'm loyal. give me your nickname!

i'm a fan of rockets past and present. i have attended and watch games of today and yesteryear.

a certain HOFer named Clyde wasnt the greatest guy everyone says he was. He bickered with teammates (barkley), and now he's putting us fans to sleep on TV.

What is wrong with mentioning the glory days? what good do i have to say about this year? that i went to game vs the Utah Jazz and Memeh Okur looked like the second coming of Larry Bird against our weak defense?

The past teaches us about the future.
And its sad you couldnt forgive a great rockets hero for just leaving the team after what he's accomplished. you might as well spit on the grave of Kirby Puckett because all of his drama and not recognize what he did for the Twins.

I'll always defend Vernon Maxwell against you haters as well. The joy and happiness he brought me was priceless. Some of you supposed Rockets' fans try and smear his name and tarnish his legacy, but that only serves to bolster the notion of Houston being a bandwagon city.

i think part of this maxwell hating is racism creepy.
because some fans think that vernon should act like Carlton from the fresh prince of bel-air, instead he was Tupac or Ice Cube.
Max reminds of Ice Cube, NWA was a huge success and Ice Cube left cause he didnt like what management did. Now today, time has healed the past and Cube and Dre are still boys.

My name is Creepy and I have supported the Rockets my whole life through thick and thin. The fact that people have such vile hatred for a cornerstone of Houston's only championships on a Houston Rockets fans' website is pathetic.

'cept Cube is popular, still makes money, can pay his bills, and his kids may still want to be like him.

Oh, and I'm going to vote for Elton Brand. If you can think of Vernon Maxwell as some type of hero, I needed to come up with something equally inane.

    lol. :D

I honestly would buy you lunch if I ever met you... you're about the biggest Rockets crackhead I've met. I don't agree with you on Max and never will, but you're so damn weird and loyal to the Rockets, I respect you for that alone.

clutchfans is so fun! we should have an annual clutchfans party or something. i tried gathering some people in vegas during the CES show this year, maybe next year we can do it.

did u guys remember the matt bullard fan club? the dude who started that was one of my pals. we're an elite group of crazy rockets fans.

i;ll admit i'm a nut here. i dont know what started it, i saw otis thorpe in bastrop at mc donalds and i yelled 'hey otis!!' and he smiled and gave me a thumbs up and drove away in his SUV. I was the happiest dude on the planet, it brought back great memories. i wish i saw him earlier, i would have GLADLY bought Otis his big mac and the happy meal for his kids.

Did anyone of you guys go to the Halloween party last year at Clutch the Bear's house? I was there. That dude was some AMAZING ROCKETS memorobilia. Speaking of Cuttino (bricktino with the clippers), there was some funny picture with him and Clutch the Bear at his house.

im not calling people racists, im saying it could be racism.
this is the same thing that iverson had to face cause he was different he had tattoes and a different attitude. max was hip hop before hip hop blew up.
people didnt agree with maxwell's tupac attitude.
