It isn't easy but it can happen. I'd admit I started following the team as a "bandwagoner" when the Rox won their first championship, but I've never jumped off. Not when the Rox were down 3-1 to phoneix the year after and everyone at my school jumped off. Not when we traded for Chuck, not when we lost Quitten and our team was basically crap, you still folow the team and like the small signs of improvement.
I didnt have to go any farther in this thread to find someone who sums it up quite nicely for me. That is my approach to being a fan-atic of the Rockets. I do disapprove of some of their plays and am very disappointed when they don't play up to their potential...but I prefer to look for the positives and hope and believe that they can figure out their problems and fix them without my "constructive" input. It keeps me in a better frame of mind, and it doesn't affect how they play one way or the other. Some of you who delude yourselves into thinkin that your "constructive criticism"(bashing) is going to be seen by the team and help them in any way are just fooling yourselves. btw, I have been a fanatical Rockets fan since the early 70's..It didnt take more than a couple of years after they came here from San Diego before my dad started taking me to games. Have loved them ever since.
