I remember seeing one of these in the Galleria parking lot when they first came out. I think I stared at it for a good 5 minutes. A few months later I went for test drive and that was the end of that infatuation. Jesus, Audis are POS's. I think the only people who like them are those who had VWs as kids or those who have never driven a BMW. And now I find that car a bit ugly and outdated, even though it still has a futuristic design with nice lines/curves. I don't know if that makes sense but that's how I feel about all Audis (as well as Infinitis), but that's all they are, fortified economy brands. Enough of that, my next car will probably be a Mini Cooper as a daily driver. Then in about 3 years I'll upgrade my 335i to an M3.
Eventually Tesla Model S Looking for a SUV and considering the LR2, Audi Q4, BMW X5, Highlander Hybrid, love the Cayenne hybrid but too rich for my blood.
hopefully in 2 years i can get a m3 and flash these around so people can..... Spoiler call me a douche bag underneath their breath
I have an '05 Celica that's nearing 100k. Not sure if I can get my hands on one of these, but I've always had a thing for Supra's. Only this is, their value is still SKY HIGH!!! This particular one is going for 46K!
I don't like the looks of the Volvo that much and it suffers from the European console/dash styling I don't like. I get the feeling I'm pretty much going to get a Honda/Acura or Toyota/Lexus for my next vehicle. Unless the Volt or something similar drops in price and proves to be reliable.
I have close to 178,000 on a 00' Accord. So I'm thinking the TL should last you a bit longer if you did the regular maintenance on it. On the same boat as you, nothing really interests me that's currently on the market and within my budget. A few years back I was looking at A4 (2.0 quattro), 335, 530, 535 but I've been spoiled my my honda reliability that i decided not to pursue. Currently have my eyes set on ft-86 if the production specs are to my liking. Regardless my current ride gets me to where i got to go so I'm in no hurry.
Like these better then the newer models. They got fugs. Also saw the QX on the highway, they look like orca's on wheels. They did good by the M but they look like a bigger G model. If I could get a 07-08 G sedan (6MT) (black on black and low miles) I'd probably be forced to buy. Otherwise I'm waiting on Toyota.
Same deal here. I currently drive a TL and I would choose a TL as my next car if the current generation didn't look so weird. I love this car to bits, more than any car I've ever owned. I hope the design refresh really fixes things up. Otherwise, I might seriously consider buying a Hyundai.
I drive an '06 TL that has about 75,000, so I'm still good for about another 75,000 before I really start thinking about a new car. But man alive, I hope Acura has retooled their design before then. Right now, the new TLs look like they belong in a Tron movie, not on I-45. If they still haven't gotten their act together by then (or maybe even if they have), I'm really digging on the 5 Series's lately, so I might end up with one of those when the time comes. That probably won't be for another 3-4 years though.
Traded in my 2005 RX8 a couple of months ago for a 2011 Camry. My payments went from $400 to $250, not to mention all of the money I'm saving on gas and insurance. Those people at Toyota hate me now though, I was there for about 6 hours going back and forth with them. I told them I wanted it for $240, the guy went and talked to the finance person, then came back out and said they could do it for $290. I said no, so he asked me how much I would pay....I said $241, he took it back to the finance person. This time both of them came out, you could tell they were pissed. They said maybe I should get a Corolla if I want to pay that price...I said no, and after another 30 minutes or so, we finally agreed on $250  Pugs
i dont doubt you got a great deal; but to anyone reading this, do not negotiate the 'monthly' payment, rather the total
Something that gets good gas mileage...... Camry, Fusion, Altima.... '01 Accord with 150k needs to go.
