    Thanks.

Man, I'm really disappointed. Maybe Vescey Sux, across110thstreet, basso, thegary, SamFisher, or any other NYer I'm for sure leaving off will let me be graced by their presence. I want to hit 100 BBSers met. :D

Connecticut discrimination is just blatant. Blatant.

Sam there's no need to lie. We all understand that your social ineptitudes will prevent you from showing up, despite the fact that these bbs-ers are smack dab in your own backyard. A certain amount of your inner qualms and shame is merited, however, considering the mega-flop thread you started yesterday in the hangout. Don't fret young man, one day you'll get over it.

another good place is keene's chophouse on 36th, just east of 6th. they've got the most extensive scotch menu in the city, and the bar has an attractive low rent, 30's new york vibe. restaurant next door is famous for 5k pipes hanging from the ceiling...

basso isn't the Ginger man just down the street from that place?

Yes! That's right! The people who own the Ginger man in West U have opened a bar in Manhattan.

Texxx, as proof of my voyage I will promise to e-mail you from 35,000 feet above greenland while getting an in-flight massage which is provided to all Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers by a an attractive, beskirted young limey.

I have made a couple of futile attempts to organize impromptu meetings with other bbs-ers (use search for proof) at both Treasures and the Red Door. As you all are aware, the demands on my time are high.

    It doesn't.

But it's still cool! And a few people who work there and know the Houston location always floats a round or two to Texans.

Being in Midtown, it's a bit pricey. And they still don't carry Shiner Boch. (Can't find it anywhere in the Northeast dag nabit!)

But it's still fun to go and say "Yeah! I've downed a few at the Morningside location!"

Sam, the definition of a "limey" is a man of English decent, or slang for a British sailor. I'd probably decline the offer of having a "beskirted" British Seaman rub my shoulders.

bigtexxx prefers the first class service on BA, a true gentleman's airline.

Texxx, BA is like a grandmother, I will take VA and its comely lasses over the lace-curtain tea & crumpets of BA any day, as well as the complimentary car transfers.

RM95, it is better for me during the week. the weekends are usually reserved for the wife and kids. after work is never a sweat. if you set something up i'll try to make it. it really all depends on the plans my wife makes for me  :( :)

anyway, whenever any of you new yorkers get thirsty lemme know. i'm always down for happy hour. :p
